CyberPanel v Plesk - Which is Best for Running WordPress?

I have cyberpanel running on an Amazon AWS every 6 months it fills up the HDD space, with no clear indication what's the cause. Yes I disabled the logging. I may need to look elsewhere, otherwise quite good.

Cyberpanel is by far not production ready as of Oct 31 2022. Nothing is organised appropriately, some features are just broken, let's encrypt SSL acme dependencies aren't installed or updated during installation of Cyberpanel, some features such as WordPress deployment are now stuck behind a paid addon subscription. Whilst the pricing is reasonable ($59USD/year) if the panel actually worked, the biggest gripe is if you make the mistake of subscribing through the panel itself, there is NO WAY to cancel if you change your mind. To put Plesk in a showdown with Cyberpanel is ludicrous. They're in entirely different leagues. Plesk is a well polished commercial product with many features that just works. Cyberpanel can bearly walk yet. In a few years time Cyberpanel might become a project worth checking out but it isn't there yet not even close. It's better to think of Cyberpanel as alpha software right now. It simply isn't production ready.

I tried installing Cyberpanel in Vultr. Used the command line you had on your site. I failed, crashed and burned. I installed Plesk and wanted Litespeed but it didn't work. I watched your video again and used the Putty to put the command line in. I got every thing running great. Thanks for the video and command line script.

Hi, if you get Vultr High Performance account - Can you install both Plesk and Cyberpanel and have 3 main domains on Plesk and your other domains on Cyberpanel? (I'm not building websites for customers, it's just for my own websites ideas which I have about 5, but I can't afford two hosting accounts)

I have just started using CyberPanel, and looks good; and things have become faster and less stressful since I used to manually configure things. Other than that, the SSL seems to be an issue that I will figure out sooner!

Cyberpanel is ok for me. The only problem is that we cannot change the domain name for an existing website. This is quite stupid. Anyway, I still use it.

Hey mate , you ever considered doing server setups for ecommerce production type sites , I set up an ecommerce store using the vultr HF cheapest option $6 a month (back in october when you made the tut) and it cant handle it anymore , i keep getting memory usage issue etc and if I start doin too much resource wise I get gateway errors etc and it freaks out , the site has grown alot approx 2000 products plus and yeah I dont think the server is liking life and I need to put it down. Im guessing you have a migration tut here somewhere

Plesk email user only allows 100 MB size storage. Do you know which control panel offers more than 100 MB of email storage?

Hello Alex! Thank you for the video. However i want to ask you a question? Does Cyberpanel impacts website loading compared to using only Litespeed? Based what i experienced, a website with Cyberpanel+Litespeed loads slower than only Litespeed without control panel.

Of course, however cyberpanel has a user interface to manage files, databases etc. On litespeed only it is command line only.

Avoid Cyberpanel, its plagued with bugs and the devs are in denial, my whole server went down today and the paid support eventually half fixed it then said the issue was Cloudflare! Complete joke, im going back to cpanel!!!

If it is wordpress site, you can still use migration plugins like WP Vivid to migrate from one host to other irrespective of the hosting panel used.
