A great indicator for identifying accumulation/distribution is the ADX/di+/di- which makes it easier for even non-professionals to identify when accumulation is happening.

Great history of price movement. Of course you can say if it's accumulation or distribution with the price already reveled. Would have been a more interesting video if you would identify if it's accumulation/distribution BEFORE the price goes down or up

Hey man thank you! How often do you see this on a small time frame work out after a drastic move? My theory is that they have tried to shake out almost everyone at the top here on BTC and they have used the media to tell us it will be a buy the rumor & sell the news.... After liquidity grabs of the middle class & exhaust all the buyers they'd then mark it up and make people feel sick they missed out.

I would see Buying Climax over the period of time...i.e. the time period we see Buying Climax on outside of the range is quarterly period which is quite lengthy to establish that we're not going to head up any further. Missing that particular "Buying Climax" phase I'd be watchful if it continues upwards specially in short period of time. My take on it, there could be more to it I supppose.

Thx. I am shocked to see this. I thought stock was pure supply/demand play. In other words, if retail traders/investors think highly of a stock, the demand becomes greater than supply, therefore the price goes up. If your video is true, it doesn't matter of what retail traders think of a stock, the control is with the professionals money manager. Can retail traders move the market? e.g. CHFS went up 500% with no news? What explains this kind of movement? Who moved this price?

It depends on the stock, usually the stocks that are less than 10$ with low float they're dominant by retail traders, and the stocks that are more than 10$ they're are traded by the institutionnels, hope that help !

I got a novice question, there are times where my stop loss gets hit then price later bebounds. Usually my stop is between 15-20 cents. Are the markets makers purposely hitting the stop order for them to buy the shares and move the price up?.Is this more common among low volume/microcaps stocks?

+Johan Karim Johan. It is very common for the Smart Money folks to knock out your stops then continue the price on up. You need to remember. They are sitting at the top of the hill and can see both sides of all trades. They'll take out your stops and continue their campaign for more money. If you can sit in front of the screen. It is best to use mental stops and just market order out if the trade goes against you.

+ Johan Karim. Market makers purposely drive the market down to buy your stop loss and many others close to yours at a lower price so they can sell them at a higher price and make profit. You can either use mental stop or if you use stop loss, do not put it at an obvious place where many traders will also put their stop losses ( like right below a reversal)
