The minister of Agriculture is the worse, how long does it take to grow staple food 3 to 5 months, where is the Security to guard the farmers or guard the corridor of farming communities to enable the farmers to return to farm and produce food for the citizens. I don't know why we are dragging this Chinese issue. If legal documents were executed which grants the Chinese company the rights they seek to protect and enforce, then there is nothing else there is to be done. The FGN should enter some sort of out-of-court negotiation with the Chinese company and start to debit the FAAC allocation due to Ogun state on instalmets to repay whatever monetary value is due the Chinese company as agreed to by the parties until it is fully repaid. Ogun's problem should not be our national headache. Let the people of Ogun state hold their government officials responsible for their problems. They voted them in the first instance. You can't order pounded yam and egusi and expects to be served jollof rice with chicken. This is an eye-opener for the electorates. There is a cost to all voting decisions. When you vote for incompetent and irresponsible politicians, you will suffer the consequences.
