THEORY TIME! Read if you have a shit ton of free time 😂 Chloe (as in the ingame Vera we know) was the one who completed the fragrances. As you can see from the frame 0:32 the girl that completed the fragrances has the same hairstyle with the girl that failed the fragrances in 0:44 but how does that happen? How did Vera (the real Vera) was the one who had the completed fragrances? Just like Chloe's backstory where she was the one who invented many perfumes with her splendid talent but Vera plagiarized Chloe's work and gain popularity and fame instead of Chloe, Chloe just misunderstood her intentions and murdered Vera instead. But after learning the truth she deeply regretted what she did. This pictures exactly what happened in this video, Chloe was the one who succeeded but instead Vera got the reward, so out of anger and frustration, Chloe pushes Vera off the cliff 0:46 but soon shows remorse and regret of what she did 0:48 Note: pay attention to Chloe's expressions What Chloe desired is something woven out of painful memories (flashback to when she murdered Vera) because it fits her the best, once an innocent character turned into a wicked character due to anger and frustration. But remember this is just my theory after analizing the video further, none of this is confirmed but i felt like both this video's storyline and Chloe's backstory matches perfectly. Edit: HOLD UP A DAMN SEC I GOT ANOTHER THEORY So, from the theory above, Chloe was the one who completed the fragrances 0:32 while Vera was the one who was supposed to fail. Both of them was completely aware of this fact, this is proven by their expression in frame 0:42 you can see the glimpse of Chloe smiling because she knew she succeeded, while Vera knew she failed the fragrances and shows an expression of giving up. Thus, she didn't open her eyes to see the result, although Chloe opened her eyes and saw the result. She was shocked of the outcome because she knew she succeeded 0:44 Vera in the other hand didn't see this coming, she didn't expect Chloe to push her off the cliff. pay attention to the expressions guys! There's a misunderstanding, in the beginning of the video, there's a saying that "when Demons and Gods walked amongst humanity", perhaps completing the fragrance that relieves one's sorrow wasn't the god's request but it was the Demon's request. To toy around with humans' feelings and nature, it worked out in it's favor. Because even before the truth was revealed (the fragrances), the Demon's eye was already pointed out towards Vera's 0:42 as if it knew everything, like everything was planned out to make Chloe feel wronged. So the Demon wanted to see what Chloe would do. Or it could also be the God's request, and tricking Chloe was a test given from the God to see on what would Chloe do under those circumstances. She succumbed into what a Demon would so, which was to murder Vera. In conclusion, Demons and Gods does walk amongst humanity in the storyline, and were both clearly shown throughout the story. Vera and Chloe, who were innocent, became the victim. In the end, it wasn't Chloe who won, neither was Vera. Chloe did in fact received the reward from completing the fragrance although do keep in mind that she's still aware of what she did. Murdering her sister, deep down maybe she's suffering. Vera died in a quick death while Chloe was dying inside with all the burdens she had to carry. The pain will never be an equal to anything she had ever desired. edit 2: Figured out something else that's shown in the video. The fragances that relieves one's sorrow weren't meant to be for the Demon's/God's, but for Chloe after murdering Vera. That's why she was presented as a wicked character after the flashback ends, hence why she was laughing and didn't seem to show any remorse or sympathy. Because her sorrows were all relieved by the fragrance she had completed.

I guess the Skin's story is inspired by the story of Cain and Abel. If you all don't know, Cain and Abel are brothers who were asked by God for a sacrifice. Cain's sacrifice were plants and berries, while Abel's was a baby lamb that died young. After that, God chose Abel's sacrifice and praised him. Cain then murdered Abel out of jealousy. Afterwards, God asked Cain of where his brother is. Cain lied, saying he doesn't know where. But God saw through his lie and punished him for a life of wandering. Cain regretted later on. Now that I think about it, Vera's story is also similar. Everyone loved her sister more than her. Vera killed her sister out of jealousy, and took her identity. Only to regret it later on when she read her sister's diary. Sorry it's been awhile that I studied religion. Cain and Abel is one of my favourite stories. So I apologize if the details are a little inaccurate..😊😔
