God Bless this man! He was holding back the tears but I was shedding enough for both of us! I carry his pain all the way across the drink. If I was financially able and politically able, I’d renounce my American citizenship and would go volunteer in Israel be it picking crops in the north or south or Judea or Samaria…or I’d volunteer feeding the old or the IDF or in some way to make life a little better for just one Israeli even. I’d exchange my American life to be an Israeli servant if someone would front me a room to lay my head and Israeli citizenship. I generally don’t mind being poor or disabled because it keeps me humble and leaning into God….I’m so blessed and want for little, comfort-wise, but where I want to go and to those I want to serve~I’m unable for I am not Jewish, I’m poor and I’m a Christian. So I pray, I get the alarms on my phone that I may pray with each incoming threat, I hurt when Israel hurts and I cry from a broken heart often over the division before Oct 7th and of course the wickedness, death and betrayal since.
