Actdafoo comment: Test Western Blot Lyme Borrelia. One Protein Positive usually indicates seropositive results. Use Lyme Disease protocol for differential diagnosis [ILADS].

Another procedure is stenting, the newer version of shunts! I had a lumbar tap of 70 and 4 emergency stents the next day. My life is so much better! Love the video 🩷

@regina6838 Hey! Thanks for the comment! Hearing loss, headaches everyday and pulsating tinnitus to name a few (I'm not gonna make it a laundry list for you to read). I've gotten to the point where I've learned to live with it and really make the good days count. Doctors don't know why it's happening or if it's IIC.

Pseudotumor Cerebri has many more symptoms than this. Also, 40% of people with PTC have significant loss of income and quality of life.

It's not PSEUDO anything...and losing weight doesn't cure it. I've had it for 24 years. CSF is almost immediately replaced so withdrawals during an LP last for no time at all. My very first opening pressure was 61.

I have normal opening pressure which leads me to suspect the narcisstic doctors diagnosed me with a wrong condition… I suspect pituitary disorder or hypothalamus! And partially empty sella is an indication. If I had IIH I would have had relief with a spinal lumbar puncture which I did not. But the doctors wanted me on my merry way 😂😂😂

It’s called Pseudo Tumor because is a clinical condition that resembles the presence of a brain tumor that is not there

I had gastric bypass, lost 40% body weight and it didn't change a thing. It is often the onky thing dokters stare blind on but not everyone who loses weight goes in remission!!!

AFAB and AMAB is pretty standard across all major medical associations. While they mean the same as female/male, AFAB/AMAB’s connotation emphasizes the difference between sex and gender.

Ok this women is bs. I am a male that is assigned male and have this. IIH. In fact Monday at the doctors. He saw the pressure blew out a bone in my ear .

I am 18 years old. I was diagnosed with a disease 9 months ago. I had a lumbar proton shunt implanted twice in a row because the first one broke and the second time the surgeon did not install it correctly. It also failed now. I am on treatment with diuretics and some stomach and glaucoma medications and headache medications such as Advil. I was infected with viral spinal fever twice because of the shunts. Now the surgeon. He is putting pressure on me to implant a third shunt because I started to lose my vision due to pressure on the optic nerve. I am a man and I am not obese. My weight is 65 and I do not have any other disease.

Do you live in Florida cuz I only heard of one doctor who might have some answers I have no access but I've been dying to get an appointment I can relate I got diagnosed when I was about 21 or 22

@@gabriellebroeders4202 I would highly recommend looking up "carrying medical and Hauser center" he has really good videos on KZbin about our disease and he has an office somewhere in Florida I'm not sure where exactly I'm from Tennessee and really bummed that I Im not able to even try to get an appointment. But of any doctor or neurosurgeon I've been to on this topic he seems to be the most well-informed I felt very misled by my doctors after his seeing his videos if everything he says is accurate and it makes a lot of sense compared to everything else I was told by professionals, I if anything give his KZbin a try it's the same name as the centers name

@rmuscat1276 I have degenerative disc's in my neck and lower back. It's completely unstable, and I feel it contributes to my flares. I also have lordosis of the spine, and ehlers danlos. I'm only speaking for myself, sorry to seem vague 💟

Even when you look at vitamin A in excess symptoms its literally the same symptoms as IIH.

@@sazzykebabi1 So, since this I actually figured out what causes this disease! I was just checked 2 weeks ago by neurological ophthalmology and they found ZERO EDMA, NOW! Once I was put on their medications starting with diamox and then topiramate (because I was allergic to diamox) I got EXTREMELY WORSE. My family grew up on herbal healings so I then recognized the signs & believed it to be vitamin/mineral deficiencies... Once having countless symptoms I asked my neurologist to check it my organs were working properly & that I believed I had a vitamin/mineral deficiency... Even with me having symptoms & letting her know I was getting organ pain THEY REFUSED TO CHECK! I got where I was barely urinating, my hair was falling out, I had heart palpitations, spooning of the nail (this is a weird dip that appeard across my big toenails only after taking the meds) Tingling in my hands, & feet etc... After she refused I made an appointment with my PCP. The triage nurse acted crazy and asked "How do you know you have vitamin deficiencies" after I'd told her I was having symptoms! She kept saying it could be IIH! But when the PCP came in he's awesome and listened! Without question he told me he was going to run blood work and also go ahead and check my thyroid (which he added in to check) as well as to ensure my organs were working properly. So, it came back I was CORRECT! My kidneys were not working properly because I was deficient potassium. I was as well deficient in vitamin D and iron. He only prescribed vitamin D and I got the other two over the counter (I didn't get the iron right way due to it shipping late). So, I did immediately start on the Vitamin D (50k iu's once weekly) I took it with Magnesium lactate 200mg, zinc carnosine 84mg (I took this one later during the day because it cant be taken at the sametime), boron 3mg and I upped my dosage of potassium to 4% instead of doing 2%. All the vitamins I were already taking except that dosage of vitamin d. The next day from me taking then vitamin D I was EXTREMELY BETTER & MY SYMPTOMS STARTED DISAPPEARING! I felt EXTREMELY GOOD after taking it one day! Within 2-3 week's ALL MY SYMPTOMS WERE GONE!!! One by one they just disappeared! I also of course added the iron when it got to me but honestly IT WAS THE VITAMIN D. When they checked me 2weeks ago that just gave me the paper confirmation of what I already knew, ZERO EDMA. They were checking because the neurologist was pushing for brain surgery! I don't have "IIH" anymore!!!! I believe it to be nothing but vitamin deficiencies mainly VITAMIN D. I also did research and so can you of others in trials who once they were treated with vitamin d they got better just like me.
