These "influencers" play a character on camera to satisfy their audience. As the audience gets more demanding, the character becomes more extreme. So then, who is really doing the influencing? The content creator or the audience?

I’m so sick and tired of people acting like sniper wolf is the worst thing ever. Yeah she’s terrible. Yes she’s a sociopath. If you think for a second that any of these “content creators” are any different you are wrong. Jackfilms is the same as every single other twitch steamer or KZbinr. He’s just yet to show his true colors just like everyone else. Do you really care when one snake bites another snake? These are all morally bankrupt people. They eat each-other for clout. If you call out someone else and successfully cancel the other you absorb they’re fanbase. It’s all for followers and views. It’s been going on since 2016 and the height of keemstar and commentary KZbinrs. It’s a never ending cycle. KZbin has become more about drama over content. Gone are the days of good videos. Nothing is left besides internet drama and social politics and virtue signaling.

The reason Pedro died wasn’t because of the thickness of the book, it’s because his test-runs were using books stacked against each other, and this the force of the bullet was transferred through each book and cause it to stop before it exited that first book. When Pedro held it by himself, there wasn’t any extra force distribution occurring, letting the bullet go all the way through to book and, tragically, into Pedro.

I still remember where I was when I first heard about the internet. It was February 1995, I was 25 and taking a tour of the TAFE library as I was studying apparrell patternmaking and fashion design. We walked past a single stand alone computer and the librarian pointed to it as we continued to walk past it and said "And that's our internet computer." "Internet?" I thought to myself. " What's that??" and didn't give it another thought until later that year when I saw more "internet" computers popping up in other libraries. I went and got dial up for my home PC and the rest they say, is history. I also remember where I was when I first saw a mobile phone. It was 1993, i was 23 and I was living in Spain. The bosses son had one. I didn't get my first phone until 1995. And even then it was a brick with a thin black strip for a screen and only had room for neon green numbers and letters. I also remember where I was when I first heard of grunge music. It was 1992, again, I was in Spain, I was 22 and working for a wholesale clothing importer, as a translator/interpreter. I was standing at my bosses desk as I often did work at her desk. I happened to glance down to her desk and saw a copy of the latest music/fashion magazine sitting on it. It had a group photo of about 5x 20 something year olds and the title said, in Spanish "Grunge. The next thing in the music scene." I remember laughing inside because one of the models wore a checkered flannelette button-down shirt. Where I'm from (South-West Sydney, Australia) only boguns (housos, westies, dole bludgers and yobbos) wear that type of shirt. I wouldn't be caught dead in one ! Certainly before the internet, it was much easier to retain information and memories. I still remember my parents landline phone number, our landline number, my mobile number, my husband's and my son's. Old habits die hard. Life before the internet was much more pleasant than it is today. Besides KZbin, I have no social media accounts. On purpose. I like it that way.

These levels of overindulgence and self-obsession used to be reserved for incestuous royal heirs, then eccentric film stars and anorexic fashion models, but social media introduced it to the compulsive masses. The byproduct will always be insecurity, addiction to instant gratification (including sex addiction), then depression from overstimulating the reward center. The animals in the wild who also recognize their own reflection also seem to showcase primordial levels of vanity as they begin to explore their features. The only difference is that those creatures do not worship themselves, which is better for their mental health.

Narcissism… Gen X that grew up in rural Australia. No computers, smart phones. House was heated by an open fire. Hell, my grandparents house had a hot water service and a kitchen stove that required lighting a fire to get going. Spent the weekends camping and fishing in the mountains or going to the outback on school holidays. I got my first rifle on my 9th birthday. It all seemed totally normal at the time. Now I honestly feel blessed.

@@AngerInducingPills There is definitely concerns to be had there, although I will admit at 14 I started drawing some dark stuff too. I honestly think, on some level, it's natural at that age to explore darker topics. Of course it can be done badly, and I remember being pressured into ERP online at that age by older teens and that still kinda fucks me up. Really depends on how much they're posting and who's responding, which from my own experience can go bad very quick. My best experiences with exploring that kinda stuff was when I didn't post it online publicly, but when I explored such things with IRL friends whether by making such art with/for them, talking about it, or just showing them.

You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. @SadRahne I'd say it also led to the right becoming more extreme as well due to the isolation that suburban homes provided due to the white flight of the late 1960s and 1970s. The left became a bit more progressive (a lot more socially, but lost their fiscal progressivism), the John Birchers went off the rails, and now nobody knows how to agree with each other as the place isn't walkable by design as it twists and turns to keep car speeds down but the HOA rules make it where you can't walk on the grass. Edit: I believe the hastily constructed subdivisions caused this problem as people got isolated into their own bubbles.

I feel dumber just watching this video, showing on full display the transformation of society into one that begins to resemble "Idiocracy" in a disturbing way. As much as I watch KZbin (that is when I'm not working my full time job, being a husband and father, working out or just doing real life stuff) but since I used to watch TV in that down time bur it all sucks so bad these days, I only use KZbin to watch various live bands or to listen to music, watch independent and honest news sources, similar styles of podcasts as well, stuff like this, why files, Mrballen, sports, videos about sports being rigged (after some internal struggle I've accepted the fact that it's undeniable from all of the mountains of evidence and ever more obvious signs that the NFL is rigged and I believe it to be true, I still will watch games or the highlights and somehow I can turn off the thoughts about it being rigged and just sit back and watch and enjoy. Sorry I'm rambling it's been a long Hard day at work and I've had some drinks and gotten high as I'm unwinding in bed with my wife.... so as I watched this video I really didn't realized just how mindlessly idiotic and just disgusting to see grown adults act like these people acted and though his personality and overall behavior wasn't nearly as outrageous and depraved as many of the others, but despite this I still must saw nothing made my jaw drop and stay slacked more than when I realized that a KZbin guy actually thought it was even a possibility that the desert eagle wouldn't annihilate him. As a firearms lover I can not say any more strongly just how unbelievably idiotic and baffling that is. I Mean you'd think since he's on youtube and owns a 50 cal he'd at least consider looking up some gun KZbin crestors videos where they shoot that exact cartridge 50AE at things much thicker and stronger than an encyclopedia and it blasts right through. I mean for the love of God a desert eagle will go right through standard level 3A or 3 body armor that law enforcement usually are wearing. Yet he thought a phone book sized hardcover would save him from his own self deletion? Thats a true Darwin award winner if I ever seen one

Isn't it interesting we closed schools to keep kids safe from a cold virus and while it hasn't been enough time to study the effects, but I bet the mental damage was far worse than the risk of getting a cold virus.

"Top creator of KZbin" is a grandiose title for someone whose purpose is to enable KZbin to put ads on TikTok videos

I reckon to be a "Top Creator" you have to make this type of shit content and also you have to sign a deal with the higher ups, there has to be an initiation with a blood sacrifice in it somewhere along the line.
