All the stuff falling out of the back of the trailer was beer bottles. Shipper didn't wrap them up properly. I've seen em try and save a couple cents on plastic wrap while losing half a load of product. One bump and the load collapses.

just a point to mention with the big cement cutter the guy was holding with his bare hands. often these are simply dimond edged blades and use almost entirely friction to cut with and they are drenched in water. so while it is still possible to hurt yourself doing what he was doing. it is not the same as with a standard wood cutting circular saw.

I don't think the problem was bare hands. I think it was holding it with his fingers under the guard. A little kick back, debris, or whatever and you have major problems.

that's exactly what is happening. those braekers are set to trip off with a grounded phase and some will try to reclose after so many seconds. tough situation either way.

The blasts aren't actually that massive, 10 miles away from the explosion you would likely survive, especially if you were in a sturdy building or basement and sealed your windows and doorways with duct tape and painters plastic. If you can survive 2 weeks indoors you will be through the worst of the radiation. Also avoid low lying areas like creeks and streams as they will be Hotspot. Rainfall will be dangerous for awhile and potassium iodide tablets will help protect you from small amounts of radiation.

I wasn't so much of an idiot but I just pressed on time. When I was 15yo I was a casino restaurant food stocker. At the end of the shift it was my job to return the (5) 10gal. ice cream containers to the walk-in freezers. Other restaurant stockers/chefs filled up the freezer entrances blocking access. I was on a strict time schedule so I put the 50gal. of ice cream in a walk in refrigerator. They all (50gal) melted over night . The next day I explained how a Sous Chef must have moved them. Truth is I just didn't give a f^ck........still don't. :)
