i think it depends where the person is in the game: if plp dont have A- GK copies, i woud say going for the galla is the only option for f2p or low spenders to try get something good, cause there are plp who cant pay 15k for a GK copy; and also get one core or sub + some hero copies doesnt seem so bad. I mean, the odds of getting A or better copies are very very VERY low, but for plp that cant pay its the only shot they will ever have. Now if you are leveling the temple and need destiny heroes, yeah i would say to go for the new event structure

It is actually a long time ago, value packs became a better option for CSG, however it was difficult getting tree ressources with them. The new problem however is getting SG and awakened heroes, since there's no real way of getting them.

best way is to pray for the good awakening events such as 10 rised odd awaken event we had sometime ago, that event had really good chances at A- and up.

We've had 2x 30day awakening sessions at £10 I don't touch auction house except to retire heroes, I also remember when these types of games were in their infancy and never had such facilities, now I don't know if avoiding Auction House is why, but IV pulled at least 12 B/B- copies from the 30day awakening cards.. I'm not quite sure how much easier you are expecting an intellectually strategic game to be, sadly I believe a generation of 'gamers' expect too much handed on a plate, maybe I'm getting old and maybe a biased guild leader that seen too many freeloaders, maybe Im aghast that DH are actually giving more and still people complain it's not good enough. Thing is the more players that politely speak up to support about what is working, and what is doing great, where the real problems are or what IH is missing, that consumer voices becomes the stronger allowing a better overview for Devs to actually have in front of them.

@@kerrykirk2515 honestly nobody really cares about what you can buy with money. Secondly, 30 awakenings you also get after about a year. They are still random, and random means they are shit, aka worthless. You might be able to sell some C copies dirt cheap, but it aint going to help yoi progress

@@kimf.wendel9113 Ive gotten 2 b+'s in 16 months on main from free awakens, its all about rng, ive seen people get A tiers from them aswell, in my experience free awakens are somehow better than usual ones, on average from what I have gotten from them.

I´m a low low low spender and my problem is, I can´t afford enough starry gems to buy my first A-copy that I absolutely need to make more progress on my account. So the way to go (for me) could be going on, on those awakening events in hope to finally get an A-copy... best I got so far, out of hundreds and hundreds of summonings are 3 oder 4 B+ copies... that´s really frustrating. But on the other hand, with my starrygems I can't get to about 15k to buy an A- Aspen and I can't see pumping so much money into this game just for a stronger hero, that's kind of frustrating too. Especially when you see people with a similar level and a similar team in the arena or other game modes, but with two, three or sometimes even four or more A Tier Heroes. And all I get is a B- or, in rare cases, a B+ hero when things are going well... So, enough whining, let's move on to the Void campaign and the bosses that I just can't get down. :D Since context and background info wouldn't hurt, here's some data from my account: Level 352 // Void Campain 5-2-3 // Void Bosses 3/10, 1/10, 0/10 and 0/10 and my Team so far: Aspen B+ D3, Natalia B- O5, Vulkan B- O5, Mockman B+ O5, Eos B O5, Asmodel B O5, Halora B- O5 and Jahra B- O3. D = Destiny and O = Origin Level

I feel your frustration man. I'm vip 9, but I spent in the early days before awakenings and even transcendence heroes were a thing. I haven't spent another cent in the last year of playing, so I get it. A- copies feel so far out of reach for f2p honestly. For the record I think you've made great progress :)

Csg need to be given out more cause rn you make roughly about 100 from free summons if you sell and then the occasional 300-400 from sessions then like 300-700 from force war every 3months so you make about 800 on a high end every 3 months

I've seen that this shift of soul awakening galas not being priority may lead to the marketplace drying up. I feel like they should either increase the rates of soul awakenings or something else so this doesn't end up happening

They should change reward structure for these summoning event. For instance, lower the point requirement for cores to 200; add a non-auctionable B stone for 300 points and a non-auctionable A- stone for 500 points.

dh games will never give A crystrals (at least i think so). i have been waiting for a long time for A- crystals, and the only good thing we got were the B+ crystals. And they took it away 'because of farmers' (lol and let stary gems gifting still happens ok very logical)... So now we have to content ourselves with B- stones. Lets hope they add at least B+ bould crystals, who knows

also, i think they could change the gala structure, because the 1000-300 spread its just ridiculous, they are not proportional to the rewards and the cost to actually get the points.

Ehh I will again say that new even structure don't in any way shape or form saves this game. As f2p you could get those resources quite often now it's just faster and pointless if you cannot get even one char maxed out because of DT resources and EVENT THAT IS NOT MAXING IT NOW because we have that craphole exploration mini game. As for sg not csg. WE USE THEM FOR AWAKENS TO GET A- to get any GK. So yea still to get to the current end game you NEED to pay. For me what would matter is any real petty meter for A- or SG in any shape as drop from campaing.

You're right bro, but in reality no f2p can save the game - it's forever going to be a content that will produce more revenue and at the same time benefits f2p's along the way. You can't expect them to keep their all the employee and the dev team with a number of people just to make f2p happy. At the end of the day it's a business model.

The point is being missed by a few here, however those who want to save save save, will do and us that play our own game steadily progressing are already on it! Sadly game chat is still showing the little Hitlers demanding ppl play how they have been 'advised to' resulting in poor awareness, poor decision making and alot of confused quitters!

chinese farmers have hundreds of accounts they use to create c tier copies and sell them in the AH, they then sell the starry gems that generates for real money. To buy starry gems for real money means contacting a trustworthy middleman who can put you in contact with the chinese farmers and arrange the trade.

I'm normally fairly skeptical of Barry's advice, because his style emphasizes speed of information over detailed analysis. I've even designed my own videos to be quite different from his, consciously. But this all seems fairly legit to me. Covers a lot of ground, yes, but when his argument is "value packs beat galas for most people", then a list of situations where that's true is solid evidence for his argument.

@@Alsadius To me, his advice is always aimed at spenders but many of his viewers are F2P, so he talks about F2P as if their needs are the same but it's not clear to me that he has really given it any thought. If a F2P uses CSG in the way he describes where will they get awakened copies for their team? How would they ever get an A- copy? I don't think he has really thought it through.

@@jayme3181 I'm not sure that an A- copy F2P is reasonable, tbh. Free awakenings can give you enough to get by, and it might be better to get a B- of your main damage dealer with full sublimation, not a B+ with one skill sublimated.

I have about 5k starry gems F2P and I didn't start collecting them for a good while after they brought them out - exactly because I didn't believe it was realistic to gather ~12k this way at first. I have only ever drawn one b+ copy so you can see why I believe others may be far ahead of me. Sooner or later you will end up with a DT damage dealer who is B- and no means at all to change that for free. Edit: Relying on free awakenings is bonkers.
