My friend from Mysore taught me how to make dosa last week, and I've just made this chutney which compliments it brilliantly! I've been vegan for almost 2 years now and it has become obvious that Indian cooking is one of the best ways to eat for me. Thank you very much, you have a new subscriber.

This is my favourite chutney since childhood and my mum still makes this (the idlis disappear fast!)... Being a malayali brought up in Andhra , this was one thing i loved from Andhra cuisine...amazing with paper dosa... and now even i have learned to make this... Thank you for giving the idea of adding urad dal to the talimpu (oil fry) and grinding the oil fry.. will definitely try that now!!

One thing I like about him very much that he himself so tempted with his recipe.... That the main things person should make any food keeping his level of likes and dislikes not keeping other likes and dislikes.... If we ourselves not interested with our recipe how could we make others to like it... Really love his way of cooking excitement temptation....

Made this having, going to have this with dosa, but i need to warn all the beginners who blend peanuts, please beware of the amount of water you put and surely put pressure/strength on the lid while blending peanuts...Jesus there was explosion here, but successfully made it...and its tasty...tasty...ever..Great recipe Thanks VahChef sir and thanks to the guy who owns this recipe.

What else can we expect when steaming hot mixture is grinded. Using ice cold water will avoid explosion i guess

Another version of this can be spicy peanut butter. Just don't use water when grinding peanut mixture. Let it be a pit thick and pasty. Let the existing oil help to loosen it or add little peanut oil to make it pliable. Then add the tempering. The resulting peanut butter is heavenly.
