I'm a Gujarati born and brought up in Karnataka, and I LOVE Idli! You can't go wrong with Idli, it's amazing! You ought to have authentic idli from a South Indian "household" and not any basic restuarant

I make idili atleast once a month by making the batter using regular rice by fermenting it overnight and mixing it 100 times by hand. Because I find it as the best comfort food, just like a warm hug! P.s I'm from up north and I don't agree with this option sahil
