She is very switched on, and has great charisma. You can tell she puts a lot of thought and effort into her music, she has creative flair and a distinctive sound and style. I think she is just a couple of levels more sophisticated than most other contemporary female artists, many of whose music sounds simplistic and one-dimensional by comparison.
