@@rayn2v9 there's a movie called Ingrid goes West that is pretty brilliant because it makes the viewer sympathize with a deranged poser who would do anything just to get into her idol's good graces. I even cried for her, and I almost never cry. (The main character is played by Aubry Plaza, who is absolutely phenomenal as a dramatic actor even though she's only famous as a comedic actor.) I don't feel as much for Kong, probably because his inner life wasn't explored that much. But I think that trying to deceive people in order to get close to someone that's special to us is very human, even if it's f*cked up
