[IDOLiSH7] just a little bit (Re:vale)

it would have been great if this had been done in time for the Re:vale anniversary, but the new song lyrics video came out a little more than 24 hours ago so... with me being the slowest editor ever, it was clearly not gonna happen
tbh i had started this as a random video without a specific concept behind it, i just wanted to have fun with this new Re:vale AU that's been bestowed upon us, but since the song is SO FAST PACED (and a curse to edit) in the end there weren't enough scenes to fill in the gaps. so i had a big brain moment and thought: "what if i incorporated the no doubt/mission AU into this as well?"
basically, the main idea would be the AU in the recent lyrics video for Re:vale's new song "period color" (here: • 【7th Anniversary】Lyric... ): Yuki is some overworked company CEO (which is actually what led me to this song choice, "working your fingers to the bone" etc.), while Momo is a convenience store worker. they meet through an online game and play together in this game world without knowing each others' irl identities. what i did was adding scenes from the "no doubt" MV, trying to make it into another game they also play together haha being the excessively logical person that i am, i needed a proper explanation as to why they'd randomly show up as a detective and a criminal in the middle of the video. so, in this AU within the AU, "mission" is also a game they both play. and it seems like Yuki is better at this one than the other, since he wins in the end 😂
anyway this is the reason why i made that "mission" login screen at 0:17 and added the game start sound effects. i had a lot of fun with this video actually, editing while trying to convey a certain plot is usually more interesting than merely trying to make things look presentable
