Thanks! It's funny how USPSA/ICORE spoil us-my 4.2" GP100 is actually longer and taller than my 92X, but it still feels like a toy gun for children because I'm so used to 6" Super GPs.

This is the Ruger factory sight. Fatter than some people like, but I prefer a wide front sight, I find.

Do you think ESR is an advantage over SSR? The difference in power factor makes SSR like shooting rimfire. But you have the speedloader reloads to deal with.

SSR also has an edge in that you don't need to retain live ammo if you dump it. I'm not sure how big a deal that really is, though. For me, a moon clip reload is at least a second faster than a speedloader reload, and that's a lot of ground to make up on the basis of lower PF and the occasional ability to ditch a loaded round vs. blasting it into the berm.

Yup, this is the Match Champion in 10mm. I'm all in on the Ruger train. My ICORE/USPSA 8-round guns are the Super GP100s-I have two in 9mm and two in .357. I shot the 9mm in ICORE, but the .357s will probably get the optic revolver job for 2024.

@@otrocanaldearmasenyoutube2022 I considered one briefly, but never got around to buying one (or even trying one out). The lockwork isn't the same as in the GP100-style pistols, and is more difficult to tune down to ultralight competition spec, as I understand it.

.40, with Bayou 200gr bullets for a sort of stubby .45-esque look.
