The only thing that sticks with me is that I cannot believe that a mask had enough delicacy and leverage to drill through the front of Cassie's skull, slip its way through her brain without damaging anything, and implant a transponder in the back of her brain before exiting safely. Plus, Helpi didn't say he was installing one. He said he was **pairing** with one. Cassie's transponder had to already be there, probably put in when she was in the Daycare as a smaller child.

While I think i might lean towards it being Henry, i don't fully deny the thought of William being behind the Puppet as per the "I am the fearful reflection of what YOU have created", and probably why Matpat considered it William's idea in his timeline, also would you consider the Puppet started at the Diner or Fazbear's? Aside from still feeling CC was bitten before Charlie (and I have seen your previous Midnight Motorist vid), I still hesitate on Puppet driving his fears. Scott even said Nightmarionne wasn't canon - why BB was, I've no idea. And while the Nightmares' stomach teeth resemble 8-bit Baby opening, that scooping's placement still muddles this. The June 26th paper detailed 2 children, implying the other 3 might've been later. Also, while I still find some issues with Molten MCI, I still don't place Mike's SL journey before FNAF 2. Also, while I don't doubt the kids surviving post FNAF 6, I still hesitate on the Vanessa and Gregbot stuff, sometimes. Ooftroop did an interesting look into MXES and how it wouldn't be the Entity. Honestly, I think a pillow of The Fourth Closet would probably be a better thing to vent your rage upon instead of plush you - it's too cute to abuse...
@IDsFantasy10 ай бұрын
Ooo good point on the fearful reflection thing, though I always interpreted that as him being a reflection of the Puppet post possession, which William did through Charlie's death But hey, you definitely don't have to agree with me on any of that. And fair for the plushie lol

Balloon Boy being a canon nightmare might be because Balloon Boy seems to have been a mechanical replacement for the Crying Child, with him having a similar behavior of hiding under the tables while other people are working. As such he would have been significant for Mike. It could also indicate we’re seeing two sets of nightmares, one set being CC’s where Plushtrap is present and the other being Mike’s where BB is. In both cases this one innocuous animatronic acts as a hope spot, with CC hoping William will go easy on him and Mike hoping CC will forgive him.

Just wanted to leave some impressions down here: 1: William looks f*cking insane in the visual novel, like seriously, who would ever trust ANYTHING to that guy? Never mind dangerous equipment and children XD. 2: Funny how despite his ample presence in game and in lore, we never really learn much from Phone Guy. Apparently he worked for fazbear entertainment for a long while, but wasn´t around during the early days of Fredbear´s family diner judging by how he wasn´t sure about the name in FNAF 2. And that´s it. We never even learn his fate beyond "attacked by Golden Freddy", was he stuffed in a suit? Was he ever found? You gotta feel sorry for the guy, it´s easy to forget children weren´t the only victims of WIll´s rampage, thanks to him at least 4 guys got killed by angry animatronics across the series (that we know of). 3: Phone Dude is definitely a stoner, it´s the only reason I can come up with as to why he thought making a horror attraction out of a real life tragedy was a good idea. 4: Judging by baby´s dialogue in that game, Henry promised them all children... Yup... But hey, it worked and no one innocent was harmed. 5: At this point, Fazbear Entertainment is just the Weiland Yutani of killer robots.

You may have my favorite interpretation of the order of events for the first 6 games and I like the way you logically stitch them together with narrative coherence even if there are still a few holes. Can't say I'm as on board for the more recent games but ever since Help Wanted I just haven't been a fan of the direction of the story and the reliance on old characters serving new purposes for no reason when they could just be new characters and the random insertion of new information into earlier parts of the timeline where we had never heard of them before. I’m so glad you also think Charlie died before CC. While I do like a lot of the timeline videos that have “recently” come out, I honestly really don’t like how they make Afton seem…sympathetic? by saying he basically just went mad with grief over the death of CC. I like the idea much more (and honestly find it more disturbing lol) that he killed Charlie and immediately came home to be dad to CC, Michael and Elizabeth and that the reason he wasn’t suspected by the public was because they all saw him as a dad who loved his kids and they didn’t believe he could murder a kid, especially his partner and friend’s child. I paused about five minutes in to write this comment so you may address what’s in my comment but amazing video as always so far lol :)

@@IDsFantasyI finished the video and I agreed with most of it, but something I disagree with/should point out is that the Funtimes may have not been Afton’s first murder robots. About 6 years ago MatPat horrified a 14 year old me with his “FNAF, we were wrong about the Bite” video. The gist of it was basically going over how strong the animatronic that killed CC would have had to have been and compared that to how strong irl animatronics generally are, and concluded that it was built with the intention to kill but it was an accident that it killed CC instead of some other kid. The franchise isn’t exactly realistic and real science can’t really be applied to it xD but I think MatPat and that video really really disturbing me is the reason why I’ve dug my heels in about Afton being a murderer before CC died for so long lmao.

I have one problem so far, I don't think W. Afton is controlling Shadow Freddy by any means I think Shadow Freddy is calling the animatronics to defeat their murderer by showing them where he is, unfortunately, he can see him because he's not an actual animatronic but the real animatronics cannot because it's blocked by their programming. that's what I believe at least, and I have no real problem with your interpretation.

My head cannon with Vanessa/Vanny is that she has split personalities due to the Glitchtrap interference. That instead of taking over Vanessa’s mind it basically created a new one inside of it. That’s why Vanessa would put you in the security office and immediately try and attack you as Vanny, because Vanessa genuinely does want to help you and doesn’t know about Vanny. And the ending where she looks at herself could of been a manifestation of her original personality seeing the Vanny personality

I don't think I agree with everything, but this is the best, most complete story of FNAF I've heard (and with the fewest number of frustrating assumptions and holes). I still really love the 'Midnight Motorist' interpretation, which cleanly slots characters in, and makes a lot of sense out of some issues we've had with the story thus far (I especially like Michael being the TV watcher, and the explanation for the footsteps). Additionally, the Elizabot Vannessa and Vanny split is great, and really cleanly handles both characters and their motivations (and keeps Elizabeth around, which I like. I don't know why people want all the Aftons to be gone, when it's the only thing giving me hope that this story will, at some point, come to a satisfying end and not continue forever). This also tracks very nicely with what I think the movie was trying to tell us about Vanessa; that is, that she is Elizabeth in some capacity (most likely as a robot) (also, the actress is Elizabeth Lail, and Vanessa is Williams daughter, so I just don't think that can be a coincidence). If I can say anything about ID's theories, it's that they are often very cleanly built and satisfying in what they tell us. I may not agree with all of them, but she is by far my favorite theorist in the community right now. It's nice to have someone who makes me feel like we have a bit more continuity in this franchise (and without too many holes) than I usually think, and who gives me hope that this story isn't getting as out of hand as it feels sometimes (I've been worried recently, but I still think Scott's got it, especially after watching the movie, and interpreting it the way I did).

Great video, it seems to tie up loose ends, at least mostly. Henry’s judgement can be pretty bad. Like the springlock suits have no practical reason to exist, if you wanted to give the illusion the animatronics were leaving the stage and walking around it’s cheaper and safer to have a separate costume that the staff can wear to entertain the kids. It’s also a little weird, we know Golden Bonnie, aka William’s character, was a springlock suit but everything we’ve seen of Golden Freddy suggests it wasn’t since it’s always portrayed as lacking an endoskeleton, which the springlock suit would provide. So why would only William’s suit be the ultra dangerous Springlock variety but Henry’s is a normal costume? Did William want that so he could get out of the suit, use it as a murder weapon and then get back in it to finish his rounds? That seems really dumb since if the thrashing victim didn’t set off the springlocks blood getting in the suit would have. Or was Henry trying to kill his partner? Then there’s leaving his 2 year old daughter mostly unattended at the Pizzaria, even with her own personal robot bodyguard that seems questionable. I kind of think that William is a parallel to Doctor Frankenstein, dabbling in the science of bringing life to that which isn’t alive, while Henry is a parallel to Doctor Tenma, another character whose neglect caused his only child to be killed and who tries to bring him back by creating a robotic replacement.

The "intact puppet" of FNaF 3 always struck me as weird. I always thought that it's just a hallucination as it doesn't seem to properly move and instead just appears on Cam 8 where it doesn't have any visible strings attached to it, the lighting on it also doesn't really match the environment, and it just T-poses, never appearing on any other camera. Yet the fantom puppet in its "jumpscare" (read: staredown) looks like all other fantoms, so the real look of the Cam 8 puppet seems to be deliberate, but why? Also funny how you can see the puppet mask on the wall on Cam 8, -but it has no tear streaks so it's not the same puppet- edit: scrap that, after a closer look it does have tear streaks

A lot of fans and even a lot of theorycrafters rag on the characters for acting illogically with regards to the supernatural side of things but the way you've lined it out makes it sound a lot more like the 'dangerously groping in the dark' approach that real people would default to. Nice touch.

You're very efficient with your words and remain very clear constantly, I also happen to find myself mostly aligned with your rationale which I don't always get in other channels. I won't stop watching other channels obviously, this franchise thrives with more perspectives as we well know, but I really like your approach, your phrasing, your insights and style. And I love the background music, it's on every video but I never get tired of it hahaha

Henry Emily is wearing a light yellow shirt and is blonde... could he not be the one who said "You're broken. I can put you back together."? He is an engineer after all who is proficient in AI robots. So it would make sense if Henry Emily fixed Crying Child by "putting him back together" then it would mean, Gregory is Crying Child and Freddy's line in Security Breach "I feel you are broken" would confirm that Gregory is 100% Crying Child. Freddy feels that Gregory is either still broken or became broken due to not being worked on as much anymore by Henry seeing as he ran away which is why he is homeless in one of the endings...

I personally doubt it for the first instance of the line since he seems largely irrelevant for most of the story but who knows!

Honestly, I think this timeline makes the most sense out of the (admittedly few) I have heard. While the idea of Henry’s plan straight-up not working after that badass speech is disappointing at best, and I personally think that there has to be more to the shadow animatronics, everything you laid out you managed to connect to everything else really well. And it didn’t even take you a full half-hour to explain it! I wish I hadn’t missed out on that plushie, because I definitely wanna support more of your work.

Fnaf 4 is from Michaels perspective, not CCs...
@IDsFantasy10 ай бұрын
Yep. It's Mike experiencing CC's memories
@Moonlight_041910 ай бұрын
@@IDsFantasy Personally, I think that FNaF 4 is C.C's hallucinations thanks to the gas, but also Mike suffered from them cuz according to MatPat, William also used illusion discs. So basically what I think is for C.C it was gas and for Michael it was illusion discs.

Honestly I agree with Wendigoon’s placement of Sister Location as right before Pizzeria Sim, as the Toys and Funtimes having parts from the original animatronics gives a more solid explanation for why they’re sentient, especially Molten Freddy after Elizabeth is removed. That does also mean that Mike isn’t a rotting corpse for most of the story, but I don’t think that changes too much for that part of the timeline. It also removes the need to explain it with “maybe Afton did more off-screen killings we never heard about”.

There's a few sharks that I feel were jumped and the ending was dissatisfying, but overall, the timeline is well-crafted. I imagine there'll be some slight tweaking once Help Wanted 2 comes out, or any other games to the franchise but I feel confident that this will be a good way to introduce/re-introduce people to this franchise and it's mind-boggling lore. This timeline and the one by Gabbie’s Horror Homestead are the best timelines that I’ve seen purely thanks to them being the simplest, especially compared to a lot of the other timelines (looking at you MatPat). I get why since the series story is almost exclusively told via hints (why I feel like the franchises story can barely be called a story), but I think that people tend to see things that aren’t there.

Love the video one small note though with the timetable I'm fairly certain FNAF 3 takes place in 2015. We can actually figure this one out because, in the security survival guide logbook, the pizzeria coupons have a note scribbled in by Mike on how to find the real price. Plug that number into an inflation conversion and you'll find the year is 2015 the same year the game was released. It doesn't actually mean anything important it's just that the 30 years after a Freddy's closing is just one of the earlier ones, it's still a massive leap in time and then immediately after pizzeria simulator you have another jump forward to the future.

Nice timeline! I personally disagree with the order of some events but it's nice to see someone make sense of such complicated lore! I love FNAF:SB, but I can't deny that the worst part of it is the story and compounded on top of eight other games, that makes the story of the entire series even more complicated. You inspired me to do my own theory video on Glamrock Freddy, and it should be out today! It's nice to see fans like you helping ease newcomers into the series!

This was a very nice timeline, cleaning up the lose ends at the best of its capabilities, also enjoy the humor thrown around, fnaf can be silly, specially trying to explain what goes on half the time. On other note, I really appreciate you didn’t try to give William a reason for being a criminal, no hate to anyone, this is a fictional story where most of it is up to imagination and interpretation, trying to build a story out of it is the fun part. But a lot of people, and specially now that the movie came out, are things to find a reason why William committed the missing children incident, what made him the way he is, and a lot of times it unintentionally sounds like his actions are being justified, which, yeah yikes. Personally I find it more terrifying that William is Just Like That, not even an invertir or a mad scientist, those are just extra excuses to commit the crimes he does, crimes he had even done to his own family. But anyway, sorry for the rant, great timeline, had way more robot people than I expected, good for them.

Something that I realized while watching a GTLive video with FuhNaff was that when William was springlocked, there were only 5 spirits present when there should have been 6 because of the Cassidy and CC combo. It’s probably just a retcon oversight, but I thought it was interesting.
