Too bad you didn’t capture the gas price on the Chevron to compare with what it is today. . . Sorta like Die Hard when Al’s stuffing his face with a Twinkie while looking up at the Nakahoma Plaza building and the AM/PM price is 77 cents a gallon! Nice little video!

Hello you’re in the mountains, most mountains have oak trees. If you wanted luxury you could of stayed at the Idyllwild Lodge. I live right up the road and my house backs up against Nature Center which is beautiful. You just aren’t mountain people, we are Hardy.

Guilty as charged! We are not mountain people, but we love Idyllwild! We have been going to Idyllwild 2 or 3 times a year for the last 25 years! We don't require luxury, and this was our third time staying at the Idyllwild Bunkhouse. We do also love to hike (often to the Nature Center), so we used to camp at the county campsite (Idyllwild Park) often but we have indeed grown less "hardy" with the passing years;)

So true! It was only bad in that one area, but man they’re persistent little buggers!
