The vocabulary used is pretty ordinary with some minor inconsistencies / grammar errors. It is really good though! You might review the band descriptors for further details.

i think that you should explain a bit why ur mother is obsessed, like .... bcuz my mom is very afraid of it, she was once bitten by a dog when she was a chilld. (I think it would be much better)
