My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. Here the examiner is so kind and nice and actually lets candidate speak to their fullest. Meanwhile during my exams before i got to finish an answer that examiner quickly asked another question on top of that due to which i was so confused that my part 2 got messed up .However, i tried to calm myself in part 3 but now i know that in order to get high bands it also depends on the examiner. In this video examiner is so kind and listens carefully while during my test the examiner looked like she didnt even wanted to be there and quickly finished up the test. I am from Nepal and i wished we got the examiner like you in my country

Saying natural filler like 'Umm' or 'Aaa' is completely normal, and won't lower your band score as long as it isn't excessive, it is better to focus on coherence and fluency rather than avoiding natural filler. Saying natural filler like 'Umm' or 'Aaa' is completely normal, and won't lower your band score as long as it isn't excessive, it is better to focus on coherence and fluency rather than avoiding natural filler. there is something I hate about part 1 in specific and speaking in general is to ask about my private life. Well sometimes I have to "make-believe" that my life is very good in order to have something to say or simply that i just do not want to tell the truth 💀
