Adrian got a point, talk alot doesn't mean u get a high band score, the candidate in the vid dilivered long and complex answers, hard to understand, many grammar mistakes, and some advanced vocabs he usesd just incorrect, lexical resource contribute only 25% to ur score

@@ieltstran7633 countries these test takers come from is non English speaking countries, according to British council, so I'm my opinion you shouldn't be expecting perfect English. Beside some English men that were put to the test could not achieve band 7.5

I mean absolutely no disrespect towards your professional judgement, but I do feel that this candidate deserves a higher score. It appears to me that there's an overemphasis on finding errors and some of them are not even reasonable. For instance, the way he gave his identification to you. It seems to me that you were pushing towards promoting your training courses. It is not difficult to find contrasting examples out there. Some candidates who weren't even willing to speak were awarded a Band 6 or even higher. LOL

Cambly is too expensive that 30 minutes per day for 5 days in a week costs 75k rupees even 47% discount applied... If you opted to pay this per month and it would cost to 11k per month and approximately 1 lakh 30 thousands 😒

In my country, Ethiopia, IELTS costs 22k ETB. This is almost my two months' salary. Imagine I get 5 the way this dude got! I am confused to decide which one to take: IELTS or Duolingo. I am supposed to get 6.5 in IELTS speaking or 105 in Duolingo production subscore for my PhD admission abroad. In my opinion, 6.5 IELTS speaking is easier than 105 Duolingo production subscore; however, IELTS costs around 4 fold.

It is a tough decision. Keep in mind that IELTS is accepted in waaay more places than Duolingo, so if you decide to go a different direction (school) IELTS will be more useful.

Saying natural filler like 'Umm' or 'Aaa' is completely normal, and won't lower your band score as long as it isn't excessive, it is better to focus on coherence and fluency rather than avoiding natural filler. BS in the first few seconds of the video. my teacher told me that the tests begins from the part one, and I only followed his directions during my preparation. I got 8.5 in speaking. So yeah, just offering your identification very normally is absolutely fine.

I guess he scored lower because of his way of speaking. He had sudden stops, like the endings of each sentence were not smooth. Again, you need facial expressions while talking which imo a great gesture to add more scores
