I think the reason for the 6 is that her answers werent long enough. I think they were expectnig her to talk much more. She also used wrong tense a few times.

I would say 6.5 her vocabulary is good, her fluency isn/t too bad. Some words are used incorrectly but there are also lots of good vocabulary. I think mainly some grammar errors that prevented her from achieving a 7.

Everyone is asking why she got 6. Examiner gave her exactly right band. I am explaining why.. First is foremost thing of ielts speaking is speaking length. Part 1; 3 to 4 sentences Part 3; 5 to 6 sentences And unfortunately she didn't speak enough. Even in some questions examiner was saying 'why' that thing really affect bands. Remember that this word is not mentioned in the questions list. If Examiner says that word 'why' ,it means your answer is not enough, speak more. And if Examiner asks 'why' in 3 or 4 questions you may even get less than 6 bands. So simply it's a speaking test. Speak as much as you can.

For example question is which is your favourite color. I say my favourite color is black because it gives me mental peace. That answer is right but it's not enough, you have to speak more and giver some other reasons. You have to make at least 4 sentences.

I think the reason why she got 6 is that there are too many grammar mistakes if you listen more carefully (eg. 1:45, there is no usage of "struggle with doing sth"; 2:30 should be "China has", but it's weird to express it in this way; 3:10 she was using past tense but said "people work", etc.) and her answers are too simple and sometimes not closely related to the question so you can find the examiner always keeps asking "why" related to her answers. Btw, as a Chinese, I think her accent is beyond most Chinese English speakers and not difficult to understand, but that is not the main reason she got 6. But I agree that her level is 7-7.5 if she could correct her grammar mistakes and smooth her way of expression.
