Just remember that it's about talking, if you get a topic that does not suit you or your life very much, just make up a story that sounds convincing. It does not have to be true, as long as you can talk about it, explain it, and answer follow up questions.

Taking an online speaking test was undoubtedly was a bad experience for me. While I did receive a passing grade, the entire process was a disaster. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any face-to-face speaking tests in my area, I was forced to take an online exam. I'm happy with other 3 parts but the speaking should be face-to-face in ANYWHERE. In my opinion, the IELTS should abandon the online speaking exam format , and instead return to the traditional face-to-face approach. We should be doing that actively since the pandemic has been underway for several years. The requirement to sit in front of a computer screen in an online speaking exam led me to feelings of artificiality and anxiety. This problem is exacerbated by the lack of a direct conversation partner, making the process even more difficult. Frankly I think they must adopt a more practical and less stressful approach to speaking assessment.

Some questions are boring and tricky intentionally, I don't want to answer them in my language , you IELTS authority want to let us expand in English ? some questions have been asked out of real life communication, what is the meaning of your IELTS speaking? take the exam more , you can make money more ,right ?
