Well, in comparison to me, I'd say his vocabulary is good. Plus his reaction like a bit laughing makes the conversation is vital and not robotic, indeed. But hesitation and maybe less confidence could be viewed not so nice. Anyway, he has done good job.

It will reduce your score from GRA which is one of the four marking criterion of IELTS.

Yes he have lots of mistake but 6.0 is good for him to motivate him to learn and practice further. He got 6.5 in his IELTS exam.
