I didn't do any practices. I prepared by watching the videos only. I believe I am capable of a higher score. Practicing would have helped me but I was in a vulnerable state and couldn't practice well. also I didn't use very complicated words in my speaking or any crammed words I just went in and answered the questions in a very simple language.

@@anitaasoti4538 honestly I'm not so sure 😅 I've been an avid reader prior to my IELTS exam, also during my bachelor's degree I took courses that made me read a lot of academic papers. BUT the ilets exam itself was super easy. I was getting 6.5, 7 during practice, got a 9 during the exam. Would suggest before answering the questions skim through the whole text first then answer questions one by one. The exam itself is not difficult so relax, you got this

Totally agree with this. The third paragraph is always the most difficult one, and you can easily focus on improving your vocabulary and your ability of reading if you have problem in this part. Also, this would be helpful in the second paragraph, as these two tend to have tricky options to challenge candidates. T/F and Headings are both confusing, so learning the techniques to solve these kind of questions will be very useful.

I really wanna thank you sir, I got my results today, an overall 8(L:9,R:9,W:7,S:7). Your techniques successfully helped me achieve this score, especially the reading strategies helped me manage my time during the test. For writing task 1 as well, your analysis of band 6.0 essays helped me in learning which mistakes I need to avoid. I was hoping for a better score in speaking, I guess I should have practiced a bit more. Anyways, thnx a lot for all the help, your strategies are really effective.

Hey Chris, could you please make a video on the singular and plural words in listening and how they matter in the context of the right answer. Sometimes, both the forms seem to be correct grammatically but only one of them is the right option in the answer key. Am i to follow the exact word they use in the audio or i have to write the grammatically correct word (which could involve changing the quantity from singular to plural or vice versa)? I am losing many points in this context. It would help out a lot. Thank you for your videos, they have been a life saver!

It's concerning how strong and powerful is this business in terms of "definite" and mandatory must buy things, the mindset and understanding is so focused that is almost impossible to be good without being lucky or "Trained" in the "Terms" and "ideals" about "Communication" language is about communicating ideas, concepts, orders, and reflections, it's not about solving classy and strict things that are completely structured as "maths" or a hard science... Well, hope one day many teachers and social structures create a more communicative way to "TEST" true communication skills. Of course not leaving behind any of the 4 main aspects (Listening, reading, speaking, and listening) they are really important and almost the way to know how much a person can understand and do

I followed your videos and instructions on your website and received overall band 8 (L = 8.5, R = 8.5, W = 7.0, S = 7.0) in computer-based test, thanks a lot! Could've done better in writing (but my hands operate out of sync sometimes so my spelling during typing got messed up, e.g. salt => slat) and my speaking (my brain frequently got zoned out during test), but those problems are specific to myself. Hello, although I'm done with my ielts test (24th august ) I just wanted to come back and give a big thanks to you and the ielts advantage team. With your helps, tips and tricks I was able to score a band 8.0 overall, ( listening 9, reading 8.5, speaking 8.0 and writing 6.5) I would have gotten much lower in writing if it weren't for your guidance ( I started prepping for weiting 3 days before the exam😂) but nonetheless I'm extremely grateful 🙏 ❤
