For me, the Delci and EA500 would be in the blind buy category. I also find the timbre of EA500lm quite inconsistent and at times very off too. Definitely not in the blind buy list for me. In terms of technicalities, I find Dunu Titan S2 far better than EA500LM. It's just my opinion though.

Sonus balanced sounding? It's insanely aggressive sounding with very particular tuning. Very genre and user dependant.

The 7hz zero is a masterpiece. The bass is still very good on them. I used divinus velvet tips and that made them more resonant and bassy

What sub 100€ iem would you recommend if im a little towards the bassy side?

how would the hexa rank in this tier list, i don't think any iems under 100 dollars would sound better for acoustic and indie music.

Actually I did not include the Hexa because it was a little long in the tooth. The thing about the Hexa is that this is quite a curious IEM. It has a sub-bass focused that transitions to a scooped mid-bass. On the whole bass isn't plenty to begin with and this causes a lack of dynamics which made them suffer with certain music. But you are right to say that they are great for acoustic and indie, generally for music that already has decent amount of dynamics. But the lack of dynamics is quite an issue with lots of other genres such as pop, rock and anything that is more pulse focus. Also just to add, for its sort of signature to work, it needs to have resolution to make them interesting. Which I found that they are quite decent but not enough to be exciting. Ranking them, I would put them beside the Dunu Titan S2. I found both to have similar levels of resolution.

Where do you think the Moondrop May belong on the list? They've got DSP cables and uses Type-C which make them very versatile for everyday uses nowadays, so considering on buying one.

They are all excellent and should be the entry point for the better stuff. These days if one can afford it I will recommend them ahead of the EW200

A newish budget 1dd iem called the ND Venus sounds better than 90% of these iems imo, only like $15 on Amazon. Won’t hurt to try them out especially with easy returns.

delci vs sonus ,in term musicality or technicality which should i priority? if to look of tonality it seem i suit more toward delci but i heard so many praise to sonus and it more cheaper than delci here . but the sonus tonality and FR seem not for me , do you think is it better to buy sonus instead of delci because it maybe better technicality and EQ to suit my taste ?

It really depends if you are open to trying something new. For me, being able to enjoy different styles of tuning is pretty fun as well.

The Sonus is ahead when it comes to technicalities compared to the 4U. But the 4U has the bass switch thingy which is nice as well.

@aboutobama1 Seeing as both the Nuo and Delci are warm-ish IEMs that aren't too bassy, which do you prefer? Which has the lease sibilance and are non-fatiguing for long listening? What about comfort and nozzle size? Lastly, do they work well for immersive gaming/movies? Thanks!

Firstly. A graph is useless for determining technical/resolution. The OG Zero just out-classes the Gate when it comes to resolution. Another point is that the Zero is made better than the gate. Both are plastic but not all plastics are equal.

@@sujeanpaulino6667 i agree with him, i had both the 7hz zero and hexa..hexa was lacking energy so they were boring..then i took out the tuning filters and the timbre of the BA's started to show itself and they were unlistenable. So i threw them away and kept my 7hz zero, which sound beautiful, have good bass and the highs are crisp

For lower budget stuffs where comfort and sound matters most sure. But the hundo price is already really high for some ppl and theyd expect something that looks decent. Not to mention alot of iems at this price bracket does look good so makes for a better rec.
