IEOA Christmas Truck Parade 2024, Victoria BC, Canada

Welcome to the IEOA(Island Equipment Owners Association) Christmas Light truck parade. Before we dive into this magnificent parade, let's take a moment to acknowledge the land we stand on-the unceded territory of the Lekwungen people of the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations.
This magnificent parade showcases over 80 commercial trucks and buses. My vantage point was standing at the old Victoria fire hall on Yates st. Listen as the trucks toot their horns as they roll along the city streets. This is the 24th year of the IEOA parade and it is a significant fundraiser and food drive for local food banks.

Better than CHEK's coverage because by the time the trucks got to Oak Bay they were going so fast. Also CHEK had music muffling the horns which I alwyas think are fun. Best Christmas parade, for sure. Thanks for posting, Corrie.

Allan.....Me? Trying to sneak in a Brinks Truck....lol, you make me laugh. I worked in a bank my entire career prior to KZbin, there's no sneaking in a Brinks truck. LED lights don't take a lot of power so it wouldn't be a big electrical drain on some of the truck displays. Some of the larger displays had generators supplementing the main load on the batteries and alternators.
