Anyone remember IEP (Individualized Education Program) meeting? This is how it went down for us when we were in school. :D :D

I'm a currently a speech path and I have worked as a Spanish interpreter in the past. I was dying watching this video. You guys freaking nailed this!! The 'I'm reclaiming my time' line KILLED me. If I had a dollar for every time I've heard that one. . . I have been showing this video to my coworkers. IEP meetings are like a weird social experiment gone wrong. Necessary to make sure a kiddo is getting what they are legally entitled to, but awkward AF. I saw your previous videos on speech paths and audiologists and those were hilarious too. Those of us in the speech, language, and hearing sciences need to eat that humble pie from time to time and you guys SERVE us that pie. Y'all read us to FILTH!! Love it. Keep up the good work.

The most silent character has the most contention around them. This is wonderful!

So true, especially spoken language interpreter adding their opinion! I laughed at ASL interpreter - "Excuse you?" and "What's your third language, Moron?" 🤣🤣🤣

I feel like my 504 meetings are okay. I just don't understand what the teachers mean, if you know what I mean.

IEP meetings can be a drag but it gets me out of class, I had it held on Fridays at most times, after meeting with my teachers and student faculty, I go home after the IEP meetings when I was in a deaf school...

Deaf people are expressive. And people who are hearing use these expressions too, it's how most humans behave and act.
