Both are awesome. And I can see the points which are better in which way for me. 2021: Better video quality, better audio quality, I think they got even more skilled. 1996: They looked better and their voices sounded better when they were 25 years younger. Performance on stage had simply more style. (I know this is mean, because the ravages of time is kind to no one, and COVID, it's still the truth tho')

I never understood why, and I'm very sincere about this, about why your song has always had a miraculous effect on me. For anyone wondering, this song is talking about a boy who takes a girl, Ieva, to a dance. Ieva's mother doesn't want her to go, but eventually, she and the boy sneak out. After the dancing, they hook up. They go back home and Ieva's mother is mad and Ieva starts crying. The song ends basically with the boy telling the mom he loves Ieva and will not give her up. I can’t believe it! So when I was a kid, this song was simply known as “the tongue-twisting song” in Turkey. Of course some years ago I found the legendary song itself.
