I don't care what people say about the Wii U Battle Mode, I thought it added a different type of chaos to the Battle that was refreshing compared to the older games. Sure, it sucked that there weren't actual Battle Arenas initially, but it kgrew on me that they reused their existing race maps and found a whole new purpose to use them.
