Gaijin needs to implement the T10 mine exploder Sherman, and the T31 Demolition Sherman. Edit: or the the GMC T53. Personally my favourite non-standard Sherman is the DD, although the flail, and T10 are awesome too.

Off the top of my head, some neat Sherman variants that'd still be cool to see in game: - T40/M17 Whizbang, another standard Sherman with a MRLS on top. There were a bunch of different variants made, too. - SO-122, a Yugoslavian Sherman version _somehow_ cramming a 122mm field artillery gun into the turret and a T-34-85 engine in the back. - MAR-240 and/or MAR-290, a crazy Israeli contraption carrying 36 240mm or 4 290mm ground-to-ground rockets respectively. - M4A3R5 and/or M4 Crocodile, flamethrower tanks much like the Churchill Crocodile already in game. - M50/60, a Chilean variant sporting the 60mm HVMS gun by OTO Melara we've already seen. Of course, this ignores the dozens of self-propelled artillery pieces based on the Sherman hull, but we'd be here forever otherwise.

I and many others would like a tank only mode so we can batlle it out with tanks only,very big maps,very big spawn points so spwancamping becomes almpost impossible or very difficult. Warthunder knows how to handle that. The palyer base uis big enough,even if they make it a permanent event ,that would be dream! planes have it,plane only planes batlle, why can't we as tank players? The king of weird Shermans belongs to Chile imo. They bought Israeli M-50s, put in new Detroit Diesel engines (a 75 hp upgrade) and swapped in the 60mm gun seen in-game in the AUBL/74 HVG. They removed the 3 round autoloader though. They also fitted that gun to some Chaffee's.

The M12 GMC was essentially a Sherman with a 155mn cannon. The Sherman IV Crab was a mine clearing vehicle, it has a giant roating cylinder with chains to beat the ground. The Ram Kangaroo was a Canadian APC on the Sherman Chassis. The M2 Medium and M3 Lee use early itterations of the Sherman chassis. There was nothing you couldn't do with this vehicle. The roles it could fill was endless. It was robust, reliable, cheap, easy to main tain, spacious, decently protected. This, and more, is why I believe it was the best tank in WWII.

The KV 85 has a weakspot on the side that is only 40mm thick. Its the welded on extension that allowed them to fit the larger IS-1 turret with the 85mm gun on the KV 1 chassis. If you ever see an angled KV 85, aim for there, as its round and protrudes out, making it an easy way to knock out the turret crew and potentially the driver too.

The Canadian Grizzly with Canadian Dry Pin tracks would be a kind of cool event vehicle. It's actually what the Skink is based on. Plus I think it would be very cool to have a D-Day variant of a D-D tank with the float collapsed just as decoration or some wading gear (ie snorkle) on the engine deck

Chile used third hand upgraded Shermans, the M60. Upgraded M50/M51 Super Shermans bought from Israel where they replaced the 75/105mm guns with the 60mm HVMS gun found on the AUBL ingame and stabilsiers were added. Only Sherman to ever use APFSDS.

There are quite a few Bizarre Sherman’s still missing M-60 sherman: A sherman with a high velocity 60mm dart round. Heavy gun Howitzer Shermans. Both the US and Israelis created a lot of Shermans types with 155mms like the M40 King Kong. Sherman Flail, Dozer, any of the dozen or so flamethrower variants. The T31 demolition tank. It’s a sherman with two rocket launchers, a hull flame thrower and no main gun. T33 it’s a Jumbo with HVSS and a coaxial flamethrower. Sherman wheel tank literally has four massive wheels. Most of the WW2 Sherman SPGs like the T53 90mm The SO-122 (Soviet 122 on a M4A3 with a T-34-85 engine) All the M-50 variants. Japanese M4A3 with a turbine engine

FOr the KV85, the side armor around the turret base is much thinner and sticks out from the hull a bit. If he angles slightly, the 75 can get through it smei-reliably.

You might've had some bad shots in there, but that engagement is a perfect example of why the KV-85 doesn't belong at 4.7 BR. It needs to go up to 5.0 a the least, or even to its original BR of 5.3.

@@hellisia-celeste-evangelin8925 The armor is bad when uptiered, but is workable for what it is. The gun's performance though is too much for what it is when faced against 3.7 tanks though. Just because the player playing it doesn't get downtiered much, doesn't mean you won't face two or three every match with a 3.7 lineup. Its too much to be that low in BR. I'd argue its a better vehicle than the Jumbo is, which could go back to 4.7 given what has been added since the Jumbo used to be at that BR.

The Sherman "Repotenciado". It's the argentinian version. Pretty similar to the israeli M-51, with a few differences. Argentina ended up buying 250 sherman fireflies from Belgium back in 1947/1948, and modified around half of them them in between 1976 due to the increasing possibility of a war aginst Chile. The "Repotenciado" has a better diesel engine, new tracks, and a french designed french 105 cannon, which fires the same shell as the austrian SK105 Kurassier and the AMX-13/105. It would be interesting to see it in game, with time. They could add it to a "new nation" that includes different south american vehicles, probably some spanish vehicles too, idk, just an idea. Or they could just add it to the british tech tree, since it's based on the Firefly.

The Americans fielded the Rocket Launcher T39 and/or the T40/M17 Whizbang. The Whizbang saw combat and ought to be a tech tree vehicle - maybe in a folder to limit use. The T39/T40 is like the Calliope except with a larger 7.2" rocket that was forward facing with limited elevation traverse and a total of 20 rockets. This 7.2" rocket is nearly identical to the 7-inch British mortar found on the Matilda Hedgehog, but also the 7.2" mortar rocket is already modeled in game, both as the Matilda Hedgehog and as an anti-submarine mortar. This would be a direct-fire weapon and ought to have 65mm of penetration. It was mounted on Shermans and the M5. Because the rocket would be so powerful, it could hold it's own at 4.0/4.3 or higher. If the snail wanted to make it really interesting, do a minimum engagement range of 300m (by having a minimum elevation of like +5 degrees or whatever).

The Israeli M51 Super Sherman variant in my opinion is the best one. While retaining the same armor integrity as all other Shermans and is slower, I love how its gun just rips almost any tank to smithereens.

There are multiple wierd prototypes of the Sherman that could be added. But shermans that i would like to see. Chilean Sherman(M-60) armed with 60mm HVMS. Yugoslavian Sherman(SO-122) armed with 122mm gun. Argentinian Sherman Repotenciado(Armed with CN-105-57). Sortof an Argentinian made M-51. Indian Sherman rearmed with 76mm D-56T gun. From an PT-76. Heavily modified Sherman into Artillery vehicles. Like the Israeli M-50 155 mm. Armed with a French Model 50 155 mm howitzer.

For weird adaptations we have dozer and the tusked 'Rhino' Shermans for clearing terrain, and and 'zippo' flame Shermans for clearing bunkers. But on top of that, we're still missing the M4A3 75mm for America. Across all the M4A3 variants with the 75 more than 4,500 were produced and it was the favored vehicle of the US Army. (The M4A2 was the favored vehicle of the US Marines.) It wasn't the first to the fight, but it was the best 75mm M4 we made. It's a gaping hole in the US lineup, like missing the Panther or the T-34-85 would be.

That was called the Multiple Gun Motor Carriage T52 - it has a 40mm Bofors gun - but it only carried 64 rounds of 40mm. It would be interesting at BR 3.7/3.3
