If Aang Never Died

Legend of Korra Season 1 created the great "Aang is Amon" Theory and although it never turned out to be true I thought it'd be a fun idea to see what would happen if Aang actually was Amon. (This is just my take on how events might play out, I'd like to hear yours in the comments.)

but just one problem, the next avatar (korra) is born a week after the previous avatar’s death (aang) so basically, aang would be dead meaning there is no possibility that there’s 2 avatars at the same time

I love how people in the comments clearly didn't watch the whole video. Guys the "two avatars" AND the "Aang wouldn't do bad things" problems are both answered towards the middle-end and end-ish of the video, respectively. Watch the whole video before commenting, or at least edit your comments or drop a reply to yourself with an update. Anyway, Derezzed, I love this story idea. I won't say it outright "fixes" a bunch of things about LoK, but it does fit in rather nicely and it's all rather plausible. I like how it affirms headcanons about Aang's spirit bending being able to give people bending, and I like how HE, HIMSELF, can choose who and when to pass on the complete Avatar Spirit to. TBH I like it even better than blood bending being able to remove your bending abilities, plus the whole "Yakone's spirit corrupted Aang" plot beat is a KILLER idea.

There's a big problem though, It could have never been Aang since Aang had to die for Korra to be the Avatar and for spirit to have a physical form in "our" world the spirit needs to take over someones body and even if so the spirit is unable to be there for long, so although I get why peope thought that It couldn't have been It simply by applying the lore of the show and logic

@@SupportGamin2024 that's been done in the Kyoshi comics I believe and It wasn't that good of a idea. Also Korra wasn't found out to be the Avatar She literarly showed them that which plays into her character so if She was fake You would have to create a completely different character. And again where would that even go story wise cuz again You would have to change Aangs character and since ALOT of people are crying over Aang being a bad father this would het such a backlash that the show would be probably canceled

Ok to the people thinking of commenting "erm 2 avatars can't exist 🤓" let me remind you that not only did this take place before book 2, 3, and 4 was made and that the theory was that aang gave a baby korra 3 of the bending types so that people would think she's the avatar that can't master air, with his energy bending and aang does his amon aang stuff. Remember, this existed before book 2 3 4. So meaning the knowledge of why benders can't hold more than 1 bending type didn't exist before hand. And that aang was supposed to be the big bad of all 4 books.

Here's a problem. If Aang was still alive, Korra wouldn't become the avatar. and if Aang was Amon, it would be unlikely because as the Avatar, he stopped the 100 year war and stopped Yakone. Amon resented the avatar so it wouldn't fit.

The story is a "what if" headcanon ffs. And the ending explains that Kora is technically not an avatar, but a random girl to whom Aang has given the 3 elements, ultimately giving the last when he died.
