Yeah but if Goku doesn’t get killed he doesn’t get trained by the Supreme Kai and Piccolo Jr never takes Gohan for special training which means he never bonds with Gohan which is a major part of him turning good and Gohan doesn’t get stronger. Also since Piccolo doesn’t see Gohan transform he never blows up the moon which means Vegeta gets to fight at full power later, although it also means Gohan comes to the fight in 2 years with his tail which means he can turn into a giant ape, but he can’t control himself so he probably joins Vegeta in conquering Earth.

They never mentioned anything about Dragon Balls, which means Vegeta and Nappa aren’t interested in coming to Earth. This means no one dies, so they have no reason to go to Namek. Frieza and Vegeta never go to Earth, which means cell and the androids would be weaker, but they might still be a real threat. If they survive the cell saga, then they may still be screwed when they have to fight Dabura without SSJ2.
