A doctor and healthcare. They never need your social security ever. Why would you give it out to them? On the other hand. If you are pulled over, not have your driver license or other forms of identification on you. A cop may very well ask you to privide your SSN to do an identity check. You can say no. They will then do a fingerprint test and find your identity ans SSN anyways. You just gonna waste your time by saying no to a cop.

To often it used by third party entities for profit and identity gain. Privacy act of 1974 should be updated and more protective. Too often third party manufacture consent as 'Their policy' [not law] to use SSN.

"Person"= legal fictional entity, not a flesh and blood man. 2) you may want to look at the social security act of 1935 section 501 and 502. 3) nestor v fleming 363 U.S. 603 (1960)= no one is owed any benefit, there is no account, and congress can repeal the act at any time.
