I usually like 'If X song was written by X artist' type videos, but a pet peeve of mine is where, instead of covering the song in the style of the new artist, people instead mash up a different song with the lyics of the first one. Like, this isn't really 'if Barbie Girl was written by Type O Negative', but rather 'Barbie Girl with the melody and style of Black No. 1 specifically'. Kind of disappointing. I appreciate the effort though.
