Oh my gosh that is a lot of copies of one book, but if that was my favorite book, I'd probably do the same. In fact, I have, I have two editions of my favorite middle grade. Not to enable you further, lol, but I ordered the special owlcrate edition of Gallant. Theirs is all black and gorgeous. The regular copy didn't thrill me, so I got the other one.

As a person who has to collect money and spend it efficiently to buy books ( prob bc of my age as I don't have a job and im in high school so gotta figure it out with my pocket money. lol) and feed my love for reading. I just kept thinking damn collectors editions are so hella expensive and the fact you bought numerous originals, specials editions, signed editions and idk all other type of editions I guess. I would've just bought like 10 Completely different books for the same price. Idk if a small signature on the first page or 10 pages at the end of the book that you could've read online too could ever compare to buying a whole ass new book or maybe several. Whatever makes you happy and satisfied. Maybe signatures give a one sided connection to the author of whatever. Maybe the exclusivity is enticing. But I'm glad you can afford such expensive shopping trends and preferences. You are very lucky to be like this
