Each episode, a special guest star joins the comics as they tackle a series of spontaneous improvised sketches, with only a few random ideas from the studio audience and their host. With little information and a lot of imagination, the comics depict a variety of characters and scenes, and even perform songs. At the end of each round, Aisha awards points to each of the four performers and announces a winner at the end of every episode.

Well, it being an improv based show, I'd go with the latter... That being said, it *was* created by the same guy who came up with Mock The Week, and their 'improv' prompts were allegedly shared with the comedians a few hours before the show - they apparently also had a choice as to what spinning the wheel will land on, so they can either try out a new routine, or pull one of their classics out of their ass to match the theme. It's still their own material, not from a writer's room, but it's *slightly* less impressive when you think they had half a day to come up with it, not half a minute. It also explains why Hugh Dennis could do the voiceovers for the longer clips so well - he'd already seen them at least 4 or 5 times.

It at least meant that they could think up something to say. No good looking at piece of film and saying "what's going on?" out of character, is it? The only round which used anything resembling improv was Scenes We'd Like to See, which was a cross between World's Worst and Scenes from a Hat.
