The iron maiden was a medieval torture device , you should see one , imagine a prison cell with no space or you can't move , sit or anything , if you didn't have clastraphioba before you would afterwards

I remember seing it on the simpsons i think? i know i know... the SIMPSONS? but it was awesome... could of been another animation series... but the sad thing was sometimes ppl were cast to the bottom of the ocean with it on :( #witches

Well, your explanation is not altogether correct. It was in the shape of a hollowed out woman and the inside of it had iron spikes, when the device was shut the victim was impaled. Claustrophobia would be the last thing the person would be worrying about. Why? Because you would be dead by the time they let you out of it

@@scottdavey3804 yes but they were different versions of it , like a crows nest , elevated and leave you there , without the spikes , death by exposure and dehydration , if you die which wasn't always the purpose , but yes lot of fascinating and disturbing devices heard about other worse ones those those we mentioned

The audio in this video doesn't do justice to the magnificent voice of Bruce Dickinson. The only two Iron Maiden songs that clicked with me was "Two Minutes to Midnight" and "Run to the Hills."

@@KristinKali Two Minutes to Midnight is about nuclear war and I grew up in the Cold War where nuclear annihilation was a very real threat. We had nuclear bomb drills in school and forced to memorize where the nearest fallout shelter was. "Run to the Hills" is about the conflict between Europeans and Native Americans, but I just love the vocals so much.
