Estelle? Earlier today I went to God, and asked Him to make His will known to me. I told Him straight up that IF it is His will that I audition for America's Got Talent next month, I want to sing whatever He wants me to sing. No pretenses, just God's will. I remembered that when I was almost 12, the children's choir I was in got to sing for the lighting of the National Christmas Tree in Washington DC. We always ended our concerts with Let There Be Peace On Earth. There is a recording of the concert on KZbin. I listened to it, and tears started falling down my face. THAT is the prayer that is closest to my heart! To the extent that I fasted and prayed for world peace for around a week in October. IF I would end up on the stage of Radio City music hall (And it would only happen if it is God's will. I don't even like to be in large crowds!), and the judges asked me what led me to audition, I could tell them in all truth that my prayer for world peace was completely real!
