If Green Day's 'Basket Case' Was a Country Radio Hit

International Superhits, Green Day's (arguably) premature greatest hits compilation, had a very prominent spot in my burned CD collection, and stayed in constant rotation through road trips and in my boom box at home. They are one of the most iconic pop punk bands of our generation, and I am so glad I got to put such a fun treatment on this classic song. Hope y'all enjoy!

You could not have said it better. Here's the funny thing to me. If I just scrolled through his videos looking at the titles and I asked myself do I need to hear a remix of this or that the answerer would most likely be no. Like does Basket case need a remix, I'd say no. Does Basket case need a country remix, um it's country, definitely not. But when it comes to Alex I'm fuck'n click'n. This dude oozes creativity and I've yet to find a video that didn't leave me thoroughly entertained. Love this guy!

I.... loath modern country, bro-country however it's referred.....but I can appreciate deeply how well your spin works. Stadium country makes me so angry nearly every time I hear it…but the roots of the genre are so poignant, and I actually really like the soundscape of modern country. I just abhor the content of the lyrics and the way metrosexual millionaires busk it to so many working class people. Alex really captures all I like about the original songs and country that make these covers so wonderful! I agree.
