Great to see you both back to Liliac! The flute was a personal touch added by Melo, and she self taught herself in 8 months. This was the reveal for it, as it was a kept secret. Sam added a little to his part as well. Subtle difference, but enough to put their own stamp on it. Mercury is a friend, and lead singer of Wiccan, out of TX. Love your new amazing backdrop, even more so that it's real, and not a green screen! Did you notice they cut off their long hair? Speaking of.... Love the pigtails, and Mary Ann look too Ginger! Sounds funny saying that. LOL

Nobody mentions how Justin was very prominent in this, including meshing with Melodia's flute. And Sam is just too good for words!! It wasn't Aby's time to shine on this one, but she was still with us. Love the two young men; Ethan and Justin. #RORH

When I first saw that Liliac was doing this cover, I had no worries. I hadn't heard Mercury Cross before, but I knew the Cristeas wouldn't pick some scrub to sing with. Abigail and Sam throw in a little extra, plus Melody surprised us all with the flute, but other than that, there's not a whole lot of room in this song to add much instrumentally. Slow ballads are almost always a rest break for the bass guitarist, and this song doesn't sound like it taxed Justin very much either. Still, this is a fantastic cover, one that feels built for Melody's voice. Thanks for reacting to it. P.S. - I like Mike's personality!

@@garyblair3033, I don't know if you have seen them or not? But Liliac has been playing some never heard of songs here and there and releasing them on their channels. In one of them, Melodia is playing the bass. And they are good. I'm thinking these are songs they will be putting on their new album they are working on. No one has said anything but makes one think.

@@patriciadavis8661 I've heard those short snippets are just songs they have been having fun with on Tik Tok so I wouldn't get your hopes up that they will be going on a new album, which they 1st are working on their 3rd all-original album before they do another cover album (if they do another cover album).

Yup, Melody cut her hair, so did Sam it looks like. Mercury is the singer for the band Wiccan who they toured with and got to know. Okay, as a long time Lilliac fan, they knocked it out of the park with this one. Love Lita and Ozzy, but this is so much better Sam's guitar is outstanding, Justin has gotten so good at the keys, and Melody on flute? Really? Outstanding..

A great and fun reaction looks like you guys are in the islands , Liliac's version of this classic rock ballad in my opinion was better than the original which was played to adnauseam here in Australia when it was first released its been covered over the years by many duos including Lita herself with many different partners and the majority have been very good but I think Melody and Mercury's version is definitely better , the rest of the siblings did an epic job with a shout out to Justin on the keyboard who drove the musical side along . @@MikeandGinger Yeah I know there's 5 as I've watched all 5 videos multiple times. Still needs to be more as Liliac is one of the most talented and diverse bands in the world and has many more than 5 songs. All 5 members have played multiple instruments and they are Independent. Melody has many different vocal ranges.

Mercury does a great job. While Melodia is a great singer she does not balance well with Mercury and does not have the power and robustness of the Black Widow
