The original of this beautiful piece is pure magic, and shows the outstanding skills of both Lyle and Pat, as well as their ability to bring out the best of their music together. Your work on this tune follows a long line of exellent interpretations of their music. I espesially like how you manage to get a little closer to the original "Lyle-pads" spirit with the layers and a somewhat soft and (as always) heart-felt way of playing. Pure joy listening to this🙂!

As always, sir, just a beautiful and heartfelt rendition of a beautiful tune. What’s true with Pat, and is true for all great composers, that is their pieces are so richly formed that they can be interpreted by many others of talent who can plumb the depths of those compositions and find something new to say. I’m not a musician, though I desperately wish I had learned to play piano at a young age, and I 😂therefore know nothing of musical theory and what makes a composition great. I simply feel it in my heart and my head. After all, that’s the ultimate point of great art, no? Both Pat, with Lyle, of course, and Bill Evans, bore deep into my soul.
