Grandpa's and country boys is like the stars and the moon. Lost mine to young at age 10 and he was 58. I would give the world for one more day with him. Brought a tear to my eye man. Amazing song.

Another great song man pure country heart and soul. This is what country radio needs not another Taylor swift or Florida George line group. Country needs reeled bbs k in by guys like Heath, Zack Bryan, randle king, Cody jinks. 85% of country radio is pop bs. Keep the hits coming brother

Should be #1 on Country radio as well as Dirt Roads. Me and my buddies have drank untold amount of beers to these two songs. Don’t give a damn what people say or think, this is country music- not that pop trash playing today. Sunday in the South, keep your powder dry boys. 🇺🇸

Heath..buddy, I just 2 months ago had to put my wife on the phone with her mother so she could tell her we had to run 3 and a half hours to Philadelphia to tell her father goodbye. Only as soon as that happened I had to go pick my son up from school and break the news that grandpa can't fight no more. He is 14 and just like me. As soon as he got in the truck he asked me, Daddy..what's wrong?? My hardest moment..and I've had my share of moments. We aren't just talking about any grandpa. He worked full time at the prison for the insurance for his wife and two daughters. He worked 3rd shift then would get off and change to work clothes to build houses all day. He would sleep 3 to 4 hours and on the weekends he would run high end furniture auctions 2 hours away. He did this for almost 20 years. His body couldnt take the beatin. He ended up getting a double lung transplant. A couple years in and the complications got too much. He went back in for a single lung transplant. He fought hard for 6 months but, his other organs began shutting down. He was the man that would do for everyone but, didnt want you to ever go out of your way for him. He loved us all. This man gave his blessing for me to love his daughter then proceeded to teach me what mattered most in life...and that's family. I married in but felt more love and learned more about real love than I did from my own. Our son told his pappy goodbye and it broke my stride. I am still trying to regain my composure and this song really helps me get there. Thank you but, we will need to hear more!

Great song Heath. I thank god every day that I was raised by my grandparents. My Grandpa saved me from a very bad future critical path situation when I was 7. I miss his wisdom more & more. He passed away 34 yes ago when I was 21 serving overseas. I hope he is proud of the man, husband & Dad that he was instrumental in molding. Keep doing what you’re doing Brother.

Mr. Sanders, I'm impressed. You have that indescribable quality in your voice and in your guitar that gives me goosebumps. You can't teach that quality, and it wouldn't matter if you could because it can't be learned either. A person either has it or doesn't have it. You've got it.

This should be a top 10 song. I lost my grandpa on my dad's side before I was born. My grandpa on my mom's side passed in the 80s when I was small. Both of them were great, my dad was awesome and he tried to spend as much time as he could with my 2 boys. I miss him very dearly, he passed in 2012 and this song makes me think of my boys and the very special relationship they had. Not your best performance? I can't wait to see good then, because this is truly a special song. There are a few current country artist I like, but man this song lives in a special place for myself, as I can almost be sure it does as well for anyone who hears it. Thank You for such an awesome song. You wrote this song? You really killed it, thanks once again for sharing I am now following you on youtube. Next step is to check the music apps I use to make sure I can jam this while in my Jeep. God Bless R.I.P. Charlie McGallion Governor Leon Crawford My hero, my Dad, Truman Crawford
