POV: Medusa walked slowly from her kingdom, sculptures of people who tried to kill her just gain the big prize for killing her was everywhere, all failed. Medusa looked at the sun shining brightly even though there were snow everywhere, she then looked at the sculptures, she was a monster so ofcourse she had an empty heart, even though no one can hurt her anymore her heart still ached, the pain she went thru before she became a monster was indescribable, she tought to herself: are there any girl who also went thru the things i went? but no, it was too late for her to become a hero, so she sat next to the Deciduous tree, a tree that looks sadder than her, leaned her head, a butterfly landed on the grass right in front of her, she asked: if i freeze my heart will the pain go away? The butterfly startled by the strong wind and went on its way. Medusa then laid on the snow, looked at the bright sky and closed her eyes. Freezing weather was nothing for her, because her heart was burning like a wound that would never heal..

Also a way to see her story end. One time I wrote her a kind of good ending. Everyone wanted to kill or at least harm her and so as it was she turned them into stone or something. But at some point a little boy found his way to her. And he did want to ask her for help, since he knew somehow that only she could help his mother who fell sick. Somehow Medusa then was unable to turn this boy into stone, since he saw something else in her as the other people. Not a monster, not something evil, but someone who could help him or others even. And with that she was never who she was before. Sure the past of her happened and it needed some time in a way, but she felt found and not left alone anymore. Sorry if I maybe should not have wrote that here, but I really imagined that and had to weep for a while back then when I thought about it and wrote it. This comment somehow resonated with that in a way and so I felt like answering. Since I also imagined Medusa in a similar way, only that I did not want her to somehow stay alone or somehow broken. Wanted to give her something she would not have expected and also a way to heal. That not everyone has to see her the way as most might have done or even she herself. And in the end, I think all who were turned to stone woke up again.
