In Amnesia you dont really get thrown into actual danger where the monster roams until the 3 hour mark. Its mainly just to build the atmosphere and your paranoia before the tension gets released.

If you get in it, the creature underwater will try to eat you, and you have to stay above water to survive. It's not made of bubbles, the bubbles are air. bubbles The creature is breathing underwater, and it's causing air bubbles to be formed. Those bubbles aren't the creatures, the bubbles are just what happens if the creature takes in the air above the water, goes underwater, and starts breathing. That's not bubbles.

when it comes to actually being scary, the first bit of RE7 is genuinely terrifying the first time i saw it. You have no way to defend yourself when you are attacked against Mia for the first time and the fact that you can't kill Jack Baker the first time you encounter him makes it very tense. I remember when watching Markiplier play it for the first time, I quit watching since I was genuinely scared

Amnesia Dark Descent is more of a slowburn like Alien isolation. It takes a while for the action to start. I think you might like Amnesia The Bunker since it gets to the point quicker and you are vulnerable the whole game

Outlast scared me pretty bad when I first played it, and that Library jumpscare, I had no idea it was there as I went into the game not knowing much about the horror that waited for me, and I got scared so bad by that one moment that I'm pretty sure I was shcking a little bit for most of the game, I know any moment with Chris Walker scared me, the Twins got to me, just about everything with the game got under my skin

Amnesia is the game that pretty created the formula for horror games like outlast and RE7. Before that, horror games were like the older resident evil games where half the time, it's more action than horror. I can see why you wouldn't be scared of it because there have been so many horror games that built on it.

The thing about not feeling scared anymore once you have a way to kill the monsters is so true. I'm terrified of games like Outlast or RE7 but can play through RE4 or Dead Space only getting scared a few times throughout the entire game

It's true that in most games you get less scared finding weapons, but some games are so good at balancing the atmosphere and ambience to make you FEEL like you're in danger without actually needing to your weapons on anything like Darkwood or Cry of Fear that the weapons don't help much.

p.t is by far the most influental, uniquely terrifying game that birthed a new kind of horror that even 10 years later no other game can come close to competing with. it is terrifying and you can only find ports or fanmade remakes of the game because it was removed almost instantly from the ps store. it is the best horror experience one can have. period.

As a horror fanatic, it was really interesting to see you play this wide range of horror games! I remember when I first played Resident Evil 7 at 14, I was so scared I disconnected, refusing to touch it for almost a year. Honestly if you want to experiment with this further and play other scary games I highly recommend Alien Isolation, a bit of a slow start but honestly it gets real scary real fast, especially with the Xenomorph’s sound design

I know these are just your opinions but damn, saying FNAF is scarier than Amnesia is actually insane. Amnesia starts off slow but its absolutely one of the scariest and most disturbing games I've ever played. The second half of the game has some absolutely terrifying and stressful moments, and overall the atmosphere and tension build up is fantastic. It's a game that needs to be played slowly to fully appreciate it for what it is.

If you’re REALLY looking for a scary experience, the most scary, crazy, and unexpected experience i’ve ever been through was listening to the caretakers “everywhere at the end of time” album. It shook me to my core. It’s a 6 1/2 hour playlist that takes you through the stages of dementia and there are so many twists. You should make a reaction video to it.
