@@NickPierson First of all, thank you mate haha and second, when I started playing rocket league back in 2019, i ran into a video on youtube in my recommended, it was @JZR moiments, I watched it and was mind blown, even though i was gold-plat, i stalled on my focusing on rank and intrigued myself to learn these cool things, like cod u see someone do a 360 no scope, now u wanna do a 360 scope. I put hours in freeplay, practicing aerial control, rings and what not, i even did 8s in pillars for god sake. I enjoyed the freestyling but, this one day, i got banned for 72 hours, as psyonix claimed me as a "smurf" for freestyling in a low mmr when.. i never progressed initially. So after the ban, i focused on the main aspect of the gain, "The ranked". And here i am, lil game sense, good car control.

Idk why its fine to say gold plat diamond champ without number, but when it comes to GC you are needed to also give specific number??? Why, its even more vague today with champions being able to hit flip resets.

Because the skill gap between a GC1 and a GC3 is much bigger than the skill gap between a plat 1 and a plat 3. Below grand champ everyone can kind of be categorised by rank. From GC onwards the skill gap gets wider and wider

If someone’s peak shot is a flip reset, that can be any rank from plat to champ. If the peak shot is a triple flip reset, it’s going to be grand champ and up. Because we were going off of peak shots, we made it specific for the ranks that would matter
