Just broke up with my boyfriend of four years. Sitting and crying.. but this song is so beautiful. I wanted to surprise him and play a version on the piano while singing for our anniversary but I guess I'll never get the chance now. All i know is that I still really want this to be the song I dance to at my wedding. Moral of the story: do whatever feels right for you. Don't let stupid things like "we've been together X amount of years" defined how you think about something. Take your own happiness into account. Because if you aren't happy than it isn't something that should be worth your time to be honest. In my case, I realized I wasn't happy. I realized that he was toxic to my mental health and I needed a break. Don't drive yourself into a corner and put yourself first. If you don't take care of yourself then how are you supposed to take care of others. Thank you for coming to my TED talk

Time heals all wounds they say and that is very true. I look back at my time with him with fondness as I choose to remember the good, but never forget the bad. Laugh at the funny and file away the tragic.. My girlfriend helped me out a lot and she is the love of my life. It came out of nowhere honestly (an old friend from high school who just couldn’t take it anymore apparently). So this is the start of our romance and I’m delightfully optimistic. Thanks guys for all the kind comments over the years 💜💜

Amazing as always Braden. Thank you for doing what you do. I saw you live at.... damn I don't remember the venue name ...but it was in Brooklyn as part of the Storyteller Unplugged Tour you did.
