If you're feeling down, I can give you the recipe for Mint cake: Ingredients: - 2 cups all-purpose flour - 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar - 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder - 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder - 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda - 1 teaspoon salt - 2 large eggs - 1 cup milk - 1/2 cup vegetable oil - 2 teaspoons mint extract - 1 cup boiling water - Green food coloring (optional) For the frosting: - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened - 4 cups powdered sugar - 1/4 cup milk - 1 teaspoon mint extract - Green food coloring (optional) - Chocolate shavings (for garnish) Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well. 3. Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and mint extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes, until the batter is smooth. If desired, add a few drops of green food coloring to achieve a minty green color. 4. Stir in the boiling water gradually, mixing until the batter is smooth. The batter will be thin, but that's normal. 5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans. 6. Place the second cake layer on top and frost the entire cake, including the sides. 10. If desired, garnish the cake with chocolate shavings. 11.
