HoM is just a measure of how much you play the game thanks to the new Trophy system which is why you are facing people who die to just normal eco. If you play enough games you get to HoM.

No it’s not like other games ranking systems at all. In the arena leagues system for battles 2, there is 0 punishment for losing a match, someone with 100 wins and 1000 losses will be ranked above someone with 50 wins and 0 losses. In other ranked games like counter strike, valorant, chess, etc. the 2nd player will always be ranked above the 1st because there is punishment for losing

@@Toadster-gx5id When you win a game, you get randomly placed in a group. The group might be all players who are equally as bad as you are, especially if you wait a few days before doing your initial placement match. That way you avoid the sweaty tryhards and get the more casual people. Then you grind out matches vs other casuals and gain trophies. Since the new system doesn't punish you for losses, it means anyone who wants to can make it to HoM. Just start later than the sweats and play more games than the casuals.

Second match: The direction of the plane shouldn`t make any difference when it flies in a circle. The total time the plane is in an optimal position doesn`t change. One way it is longer but not that often, the other way it is more often but not that long. ISAB tested it in BTD6 sandbox mode, the pops are the same besides a bit a rng. I don`t think that it is any different in battles2

It makes a very big difference. Because if u have it on the direction it follows the sent Bloons, it will be flying over the same exact set of Bloons (or close to the same set) for almost the entire rotation. This means it will pop those Bloons entirely and then start to miss more arrows/bombs it drops because it’s further away from other Bloons it will never be on top of. When going against the grain, this is not an issue and it flys over pretty much every bloon from sent path during rotation

I believe the new ranking system is letting more noobs into HoM. Since losing doesn't actually drop trophies, you can get into HoM just by playing a lot even if you're trash.

@spinnie0 it's to give unskilled players rewards based on feelings. It's just like in sports. You can be a star player on your team and the person who didn't even know how to play got a trophy. It started with feelings. It's being applied here based on feelings. Skill level should be separated. No different than a job now a days, people who do nothing or have zero skills get the same pay as someone who works hard and actually does their job. Cheers.

Bloon sends are way too OP., Near 100% loss rate here. My towers never defend no matter what I do. I'm beaten by round 16 or sooner. I find this game extremely discouraging. Maybe they can buff bloon sends more and nerf towers power for their preferred balance.

The Zed OMG Inbound one sounded mildly British which means it's a solid impression I can see a bit of inflation having there though, with that Ace Basalt game. Normally they could practice that in Casual, and there's also a lot of talk about how less skilled players are getting into HoM with the new system. I'd honestly argue that that's probably what they intended with this system, to increase casual appeal or smthn? I'm also guilty of being late to buy Etienne Camo but in my defense I'm not interested in tryharding the game in its current state I like to be SOMEWHAT casual about it.
