As a Beginner in Cloud/DevOps, the first question you have is which Cloud I should learn, Whether I go with AWS, Azure, GCP, or any other Cloud provider in the market. In this short video, I have answered all those questions with real-time data and facts and shared some important suggestions. I have also shared the right time to go with Multi-Cloud and how I transitioned into Cloud from Production Support and worked on all three clouds.

Congratulations, Great to hear you did lots of certification in these clouds, So my first question is from where did u learn, get study material and being confidence to give the exam. What is the better choice to give an exam in the exam centre or in an at home environment. I am doing an internship in DevOps and learning, I passout in AWS cloud practitioner certified. Now I am preparing for the Azure az900 because the company wants to go with Azure. So can you suggest me about studying materials for Azure. If I jump to another question, I lost MFA in the skill builder AWS account and that I have a 50% coupon for the next exam. Can you help me how to recover my skill builder account. Well, those are a lot of questions. Let me try to answer: - First certification is always the hardest as you dont have any idea about the exam pattern, difficulty level, time and so on. It took me 4 attempts to clear my first certification AWS certified solutions Architect and now I have 16 certs. - I use different resources as below: for AWS SAA: Stephen Maerk Udemy course, I cleared SysOps, DevOps certs without studying as I was working on it when I gave those two. For anything Azure: Initially I took the Udemy course by Alan Rodriques for AZ104, and then I was working on Azure, I did not have to even study for the rest of the certifications.(DP900, AZ900, AZ303, AZ304,AZ400 etc) FOr GCP, As I am working on it for the past two years , I did not prepare and I was able to clear ACE, PCA and DevOps For CKA, I took Mumshad's Udemy course 4 years back For Terraform, I took Zeal Vora's Udemy course. Realtime hands-on experience >> Any course - I prefer giving the exam at exam centre as my home office has a lot of monitors, and other accessories and they will ask to disconnect everything and remove everything from the desk, its a hassle for me so I prefer exam centre plus there could be issues at proctored exam. - For AZ900, first go through exam guide on MS website, I have an entire playlist for AZ900 with hands-on and practise questions as well(feel free to check that out) also, go through ms learn website once before giving the exam, in case any topic were recently added. - I never used skill builder platform so I am not sure about it, you can raise a ticket with their support and someone should help you. For AI-based roles, are AI cloud certifications worth ? I am looking at GCP (Vertex AI Studio). Is it worth it or should I look at Azure AI, in your opinion?

I have used Vertex AI and found it amazing, I dont have much idea about Azure AI. If we talk about certifications, AI certification is a speciality/professional certification so yes, it has its value whether you go with Azure of GCP.

Hello, If you have no idea about the cloud and no experience with it. Start with Azure AZ900 certification. I have an entire playlist for that, complete that, do the handson and then complete the Azure DevOps playlist. There are a few other topics but I would recommend completing these two playlist first.

Only if you are aiming for Faang or a few more product based companies. Most of the companies dont have DSA round for cloud/devops related roles. If you are a fresher, I would recommend getting the basic DSA knowledge and go in-depth of other topics.

Hello Ayush, I have a few different suggestions for such situations: - Most of the jobs requires 3+ years of experience but there are some jobs that doesn't, aim for those roles. - Instead of going directly to DevOps, keep your options open for other roles such as Cloud Support, Cloud Admin, Cloud Consultant, those are comparatively easier to get in. - Try to add Cloud certifications in your resume, it will help you with learning as well as make your profile stronger. - Complete realtime handson projects, create a good Github profile and write your blogs on platforms such as medium.com to showcase your learning. - Be active on Linkedin/Twitter, keep sharing your learning and your profile will be noticed y recruiters/hiring managers. Hello Anil. Data engineering is a whole different domain , as you are from Azure Admin background, DevOps will be an ideal choice for you. There will be very limited openings if you just learn Azure DevOps, learn all the tools and processes in the devops ecosystem and Azure DevOps is one of those, Kubernetes also comes into DevOps realm. If you are learning DevOps then people will expect you have to Kubernetes knowledge as well as you have 11 years of experience. I'd say DevOps + Kubernetes should be the way to go.

There is no single path to enter in IT. I'd suggest doing research of what you want to do? Coding/Development? testing? Operations ? Cloud? DevOps? Sys Admins? there are many more roles and based on the role, you select the resources to follow. Everything is available free of cost on KZbin and other websites. Please spend some time doing the research and then decide. roadmap.sh would also be a good place to start. Please keep this in mind, you will still be treated as a fresher even though you have 13+ years of experience in BPO. Good luck

That depends what do you understand by coding, Whether you will be responsible for application development from scratch? the answer is No, whether you will have to debug the issues with the application code itself? Then yes You will be still writing code , Kubernetes manifest in YAML is a code, CICD pipelines in YAML, JSON, Groovy, is a piece of code, Automation using Python , shell script is a code. Writing Helm charts, controllers, serverless functions, CRDS, everything is a code. In a nutshell, you will not be developing the application but you will be maintaining those application with the help of different tools, scripting languages etc. I hope I was able to answer your question but let me know if you still have any doubts.

Hello Babu, First of all, as a beginner, dont directly jump into multi-cloud , pick one cloud and get a good handson experience plus atleast an associate level certification, Build some good hands-on projects, try to create a GitHub profile and document your project artifacts.and yes, you can also learn through online resources and get a job.

But it is important to understand the limitations and what is covered under the free tier. GCP also runs certain programs from time to time that offers free access.
