I was so happily surprised when I saw that you had made a new Bagginshield video! I like 1:19 when the beat and tempo quicken, and I love 2:04, that was so well fit with the lyrics! And from 2:55 till the end it's just like a beautiful montage of Bilbo and Thorin ♥ And the ending scene was an interesting choice because I haven't seen any vids that ended with that particular scene before, it's usually when Bilbo returns home or when Thorin dies etc. Thank you for still making videos with this fandom and pairing!!!!

Thank you so much!! And thank you for such nice thoughtfull comment!! When I wasmaking the video I was surprised myself the voiceovers are so easy to fit. Once again, this song is SO Bagginshield, there is no other context that I can see it. And about the ending scene, I'm glad you noticed! I didn't want to end it with Thorin dying, or Bilbo going home - because it's not the point. The point they loved each other, and maybe not in words, but in actions they showed it. I think Thorin first fell for Bilbo at the Carroc, during his speach about home, and that his feelings were solidified in Lake Town, when Bilbo vouched for him. In the movie, he's surpried that Bilbo would do that, but his expression quickly changes into that of quiet assurance. "Of course he did, I love him, and he loves me". Sorry for this long rumble, but I am so excited to talk about Bagginshield!!

Yeah, I think at the Carrock Thorin started to have some feelings towards Bilbo or that's when he started to have at least positive feelings towards him. But after that I feel like he just fell for him so quickly, trusting him utterly, like in the Woodland Realm, for instance. And yes, that scene in Lake Town, you just can't deny the heart eyes! Don't apologise, I love to talk about this ship too ^^

Now say...... what if the whole Hobbit movies went canonically, but after Bilbo leaves Gandalf comes to pay his respects..... and he discovers Thorin hasn’t died; not quite yet. So he is saved, and Thorin lives, but he can’t make the journey to Hobbiton. It is too far for a messenger to go, and the ones who did got lost and never found Bilbo. Thorin gave up the crown of Erebor to Dain, because he couldn’t imagine ruling without Bilbo, and dies of heartbreak soon after. Bilbo never knows, and Gandalf doesn’t want to tell him. Horrible thought, I know.
